I have quite a few paper punches that I am not going to use. I would like to try and sell them before I decide to give them away. My question is should I try to sell them in a set of say 3-4 or should I try to sell separately. In my mind I know how expensive it is to ship things these days so I have tried 4 punches (currently on eBay) at a really low price with low shipping ( I'm guessing I'll have to eat some of the shipping). i just put them up so I'll wait the week to see how it goes but I just wanted some opinions. My other question is would you be more inclined to buy a set of say circles or a set with different size or kind of stamps. thank you !!

Can you post them here on the FSOT board? Would several of them fit in the postal flat rate boxes that start at $7.15? I would be more likely to buy more if I knew shipping was a flat rate. I would also want to pick which ones I was going to get since I have a ton of punches.

yeah, because of their weight, some people might be hesitant to buy one at a time as opposed to a bunch that you can ship flat rate. it's amazing how many you can stuff into a padded flat rate envelope for just $7. unless it was a really desirable or rare punch, i would list them in bulk or bunches.

yes please list here, and i normally buy punches one at a time, but like if a seller combines shipping.

Flat rate shipping for punches is the way to go because of their weight. I think people would be more likely to buy a lot of punches (as in a group you've put together ) even if it included a couple they didn't want simply because the shipping can be prohibitive if you try to buy individually. That being said, try to avoid duplicates in the group. I've seen ebay listings where there are a couple of the same punch (same size heart or star but different manufacturers). I know we all have duplicates (at least I do), but I don't buy them at the same time. And I agree you should try listing them here on the FSOT board. You won't have ebay fees and all the Peas I've ever dealt with have been awesome.

I've sold mine in lots on eBay, but agree that starting here would be a better option. Like another poster said, a padded flat rate envelope can hold a lot. I reinforced mine with tape and it shipped well. Depending on the punch style I could fit 8-10 punches in there. My lots always sold for a good price too.

Mbartolotta, I just noticed you don't have enough posts to access the FSOT board yet. I can't remember if new members can even see it before 50 posts, so I'm sorry if my other post was confusing.

If I were buying them I'd prefer a selection as opposed to different sized circles. It's kind of like buying a sheet of stickers--I rarely like them all but I'll use most of them.

Thanks gals!! I'm trying to build up my posts so I can be on the FSIT board . Hopefully soon !! What is the scrapbooking item (tool, furniture, whatever). That you don't have but dream of having? If you answer all of these (separately) it should move you up over 30. Anyone else care to help?

( trying to help you accumulate posts) Great idea! Mbartolotta, what size are you most likely to scrap? Do you do traditional layouts or pocket pages?

Oh thank you !! I haven't scrspbooked in a long time but I feel a strong pull to get back into it. I stopped scrapping for years, but it's like riding a bike - you can pick it up again easily. My scrapping is much different now than it was back then, but it's still fun to play with paper and embellishments!
