We LOVE that show in our house. My two youngest DSs are 12 and 16, and although I'm usually much more cautious when it comes to language, I drop the ball on this show because it is just so stinking funny. They bleep out most bad language, and I'm not a fan of the jokes about women's breasts, but I let that go for the belly laughs on everything else.
Well, I thought I would be the cool mom and make my kids a tshirt referencing the show, and I ended up with a couple for my youngest: one that says "Team Joe" another with "Murr Sal Joe and Q" and a third with quotes from the show all over the front like "Where's Larry" "It's not pizza, it's Da Gatto" "Is that Jaden Smith" and so on. He loved it.
For my oldest, I made up one with a list of names on the back of the ones they call out in the waiting room skits, the "fake names" gag. I sent a photo of it to my oldest DD and she was shocked! She isn't as cautious or buttoned-up as I tend to be, so I felt like if SHE thought they were too inappropriate, then there must be something to it. I googled each and every phrase and I can't find any "hidden meaning" to any of them, but she won't tell me which ones or why she thinks they're not appropriate for school. I feel really old, but I absolutely don't see the harm, and I'm sure I'm just missing something. Do any of you know if any of these names are anything other than just stupid? There were plenty that I could have used but I passed on them because it was obvious they were too inappropriate or crass, and I thought I picked the ones that were the most tame. He's 16 and he kind of giggled when I gave it to him today with plans to wear it to school tomorrow, and he's always been a pretty modest but goofy kid, so I don't really think he'd want anything to over the top, but you never know. I just don't want to send him to class only to have him end up in the principal's office.
Since I'm obviously too oblivious to see what the problem is, I'm going to list the ones here I included on the shirt and trust that you all will point me in the right direction...

At first glance, I think there might be some sideway glances at "Tammy Bundleballs" and "Taint Nuffin". Any shirt with "balls" on it will elicit sophomoric laughs/chatter from most boys older than 7 or 8 years old. If you look up "taint" in the Urban Dictionary, you'll probably want to remove it from your list as well.
Edited to add that you should look up "Queef" in the Urban Dictionary too. I'm pretty sure it's not exactly what you'd want your child wearing in public.
Btw, my 15 year old son loves this show. Some of the episodes are funny (I love the one where they pin a balloon filled with helium on people in the grocery store). Very creative of you! I'm sure your kids will think you're a cool mom!

Cumby Oboombox, also not so great if there are teenaged boys around, I wouldn't think...
same for Darcy O'Queef...
ETA: we loooove this show, too, and I think it's cool that you want to do this for your sons!
"Larry! Larrrrry! Larrrrrry!" LOL!!

That will likely cause him to have to change.
'Taint' is slang for perineum as in 'Taint your vagina/balls, Taint your butt' (Although the more popular term for men is a gooch)
Queef is the sound of a vagina 'farting' as air us released. Usually after sex.

I sometimes forget to have a filter. Job hazard. Ha Nah, I filter too much. Unfiltered is much more fun to be around.

I'm not even going to look those up, Steph, but I'll definitely be re-printing that shirt. It might be fun to slip that into conversation after a couple margaritas with my friends, but not really liking the idea of sending my baby to school with it written on a shirt his Mom made him. Thanks for the heads up, Mommas! I think it'll be funny to replace him with one missing those specific names without mentioning that I re-did it, and have him wonder how I figured it out.

We love the show and have seen them in concert as well (where there is plenty of colorful language and no bleeping!)
As an adult, I'm not fazed by the content or language in the least. Although, we've had to look up a couple of things on the internet to understand some of the slang.
Yeah, I'd reconsider a couple of those names on shirts if your kids will be wearing the shirts to school.

That show is our family's guilty pleasure. And we are in so many of the places they film frequently we can't believe we've never seen them.

I would also reconsider "team Joe". I've heard it more of an expression of having a crush on someone. Would your younger son be ok with that interpretation? Some kids would and some wouldn't and we all know how middle schoolers can be brutal.

Since I don't voluntarily watch the show or find it entertaining, I wouldn't allow our teen to wear either tee-shirt. The made-up names are inappropriate.

Love the show....... Jaden Smith tattoo has got to be a favorite. We saw them live and they are just as hysterical in person.
I would try to remove the names in question. Better safe than sorry!

My daughter is obsessed with that show. I can tolerate it mostly, but sometimes they push things a little far.

We watch the show too! I'm cautious about shows with language and very cautious with sexuality/nudity since my son is only 12 but we watch all the episodes because like you said it's so darn funny!

I'm the only one in the family that doesn't love the show. I find so much of it cringe-worthy and have to walk away.
However, the one show with the BINGO segment had me seriously LOL.

no, they don't have a laugh track, that I know of, anyway. What I love about the show is the relationship the guys have- you can totally tell they've been friends forever, and they STILL crack each other up with their jokes and antics. I laugh every time Sal laughs so hard he falls to the floor. And the 'skoopsky potato' skit with Joe and the mashed potatoes makes me laugh every time I see it, even though we've probably seen it at least 5 or 6 times. I do think they go a BIT far with some of the punishments, but they all have to agree to do them, so...
I do think they kind of pick on Murr sometimes with some of the things they try to make him say / do-- like when they shaved his head and eyebrows and made him get a new driver's license. (But that's probably because I kinda have a crush on Murr, lol.)

They seem to have matured and their antics are just funnier to me.

We used to watch it but it's gotten more and more ridiculous and stupid (and probably scripted in a lot of ways). It was really funny at the beginning though.
eta: I've never heard outside laughing so I am pretty positive they don't use a laugh track.
