Anyone here going to the convention next month? My DD was selected as our council's girl delegate so we are going. They paid for her but I have to pay my way. I was just curious if anyone else was going.

One of the girls in my troop is going as a delegate as well. Are you in WA? We're in Western WA.

I only have boys, but I went as a delegate when I was a senior in high school...back in 1993. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

I have been to one and it is amazing. Especially the use of parliamentary procedures. My friends go. Every time and are volunteer tellers. Enjoy!!!

I'm glad to hear that it's amazing. I've heard that but I had some misgivings so I was a little worried. I've been more excited for DD. I'm hoping it will rejuvenate her a bit more about GS. She only has two years left but she's been waning on her Gold Award and I'd like to see her do it. I'm hoping this will give her a kick she needs. I'm looking forward to some time away. I was hoping my dad would drive down from Michigan but that's not looking like it will happen.
