See, this is gross, dumb and dangerous, not to mention illegal. However, it’s not crazy ( like to me the mad pooper is ) he’s got a perfectly rational plan to profit from this. Poorly carried out, wrong, slightly greedy but it’s not irrational. He’s not crazy he’s just a stupid guy looking to make a profit the wrong way.

Kinder eggs are the size of a regular egg. 8, that is crazy.

I'm past the humor of this and just find this fascinating:
So he didn't care that he was going to jail because he was going to be paid well for the effort? And who is paying for the prisoners drugs, their gangs on the outside?

Kinder eggs are the size of a regular egg. 8, that is crazy. The plastic containers that hold the toy inside are not though.

Lol, I didn't read the article I just saw people saying 8. Seemed incredible.
Now I'm confused. If he removes the toy from the egg, there is no eating going on and hence no "worries" of a kid accidentally ingesting a part. Wouldn't it then be perfectly okay to bring them anywhere. We most certainly brought home the prizes we got from Kinder eggs enjoyed in Germany.
