How do you clean them to use with a different colour? i am tempted by these brushes at Taylored expressions. But they are quite expensive. Would four be enough? I am thinking I might need one for each of the 8 standard colours, so two sets? Have to think about that...

I don't really "clean" my Clarity brushes. I just swipe them back and forth on a paper towel until no more color comes off. However, I did buy 2 sets so I could have a brush for each color family. I don't notice any color contamination this way. They are very nice brushes.

I bought my first set just a few weeks ago. I haven't used them yet but I also think that I will eventually invest in a second set.

I have the clarity and only 4 so far. But is see Vicki Pap.... using the tonic ones that are double sided. I wonder how much they are?
I would like to own one for each colour group and in the past with those type. I just swiped them on paper towel between tones of colour.

scrappington, I paid $13 for the Tonic brushes at SSS. They are completely different than the Clarity stencil brushes. The bristles on the Tonic brushes are hard and stiff. I've only used them with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. I like the results. I haven't tried the Clarity brushes yet but I think that they will give a much softer result than the Tonic ones.

Good to know. Thank you. I may just invest in another set of clarity then.

I'm going to invest a couple of bucks in these makeup brushes recommended here youtu.be/jwvh9zrieTMIt looks like they work well for blending and for stencils, and they seem to clean up well. Apparently they have them at superstores and Amazon. The style appears to be the Total face brush but they have other sizes and shapes that might be fun to experiment with.

Thanks for the recommendation! Do you use it to switch between colors or just when the brush needs cleaning?

Thanks for the recommendation! Do you use it to switch between colors or just when the brush needs cleaning? Well, I mostly use paint on my brushes and stencils so I clean everytime I use my brushes. But as I said, I also do not have these particular brushes. They look like a large paintbrush and soft so I still would treat them the same way as my paintbrushes.

I also just "swish" off my brushes on paper towel until no more colour comes off. I've had no problems...except yellow...I reserve one brush for only yellow. I did also allocate 1 brush to pink/red/orange/brown, and 1 brush to blue/green/black. Seems to be working fine (even if I use the red brush for a blue colour, I've had no issues).
