Did they just have a large sale or something? Has their shipping time slowed significantly?
I placed an order a week ago and it still says "paid, ready for processing." It's a small order with no preorders or anything funky. I order from them every couple months or so and haven't experienced this before unless there was a preorder that snuck into my basket by accident. I'm feeling slightly special snowflake in that I'm questioning a week's processing time, but quite honestly in the age of internet shopping, I think it's odd it's just been sitting there for a week.
Thought I'd ask here and see if there was an extenuating circumstance (like a sale) or if this is the new norm, prior to contacting them. If this is the new norm, I really think I'll spend my money elsewhere first.

I would contact them. I placed an order Thursday afternoon. Within an hour they had packed and shipped it. Because I live so close to them, my order arrived Friday.

Maybe something wasn't in stock that they felt they could get in stock in a reasonable time frame that had initially said in stock when you ordered? I would reach out, they are really good about their customer service.

Agonizingly slow for me, always. It takes days to process an order, and at least 5 business days for delivery to California for items they have in stock. It's just part of the process that I take into consideration before I order. Usually I'm not in a big hurry anyway, and most of the time my ACOT orders are preorder items. The waiting time on those is often a month or more. I am still waiting on a TH Halloween die that I ordered on 9/5. It's in stock everywhere but ACOT.

I emailed. This is *such* a first world problem. I don't want it to be an issue but it is something I'll take into consideration if it's their new way of doing business. And if I'm going to do that, I certainly will let them know very nicely why. I'd just really rather hear it was because of a giant sale and they're swamped

Stupid me placed an order with them in August and didn't read the part that says if you'd like a pre-order, order it separately. Definitely a mistake that I will never make again. My order status hasn't been updated since September 5. So here I sit and wait.

They are hit/miss with how fast things are shipped. I've had it take days or hours.
I've always been very happy with them. All my orders have been correct and well packaged.

I have the same problem with them. It is maddening to keep seeing that it's ready and it still takes days to ship!

Mine has been shipping the same day I notice it says stuff is ready. I have done a lot of preorders with them. Now they do often seem to get stuff later than others though snd it takes s while to get to California but their prices have been better than others lately.

Hmmm. I have always had fast shipping with ACOT. My last order with them, which was just a couple weeks ago, took a little longer than usual because I had 1 item that was marked "due to arrive at warehouse in xx days". But even that order was in my hands in 1 week...ordered on Sunday, shipped on Friday and much to my surprise arrived on Sunday. Hope you get it figured out and your order is on its way asap!

I have noticed, even when I upgrade shipping, that it can take a week to process my order and then 3-5 days to arrive to me. A few times it even took a week! Their shipping to California has slowed down greatly. It is very frustrating.

Did any of the things you order state that they may take a few days? I know they have 2 warehouses and sometimes things are at the other one and you have to wait an extra 2-3 days for that to ship to the main warehouse. That's all I can think of other than a pre-order that would be holding it up. I always get fast shipping, but I live in the same state. One time, I did have to wait up to a week for my things, but that was the first and only time. I don't know what happened and I wasn't in a hurry to get the things, so I just waited it out. If it hadn't arrived within a week, I too, would have emailed them.
Hope you get this resolved quickly!

Then a few days later was sent an email that it was out of stock. A week later it came back and the following week!!!! it was finally mailed out AFTER I called ACOT.

I will never do a pre-order again. Took forever for them to get lines that were stocked weeks earlier at all other sites. Once it did finally ship, it took longer than any other online company I have ordered from before. I wouldn't order anything I need right away.

Update: I did end up emailing to inquire if there was a problem. I'm not comfortable complaining per se, without trying to get the whole story and try to give the benefit of the doubt. Magically my order was processed and it's on its way. Their answer to my email said processing was delayed slightly from the normal 1-3 days due to recent promotions. I haven't noticed any huge sale emails but I certainly could have missed one. It's not a major issue one way or the other, but I'll explore other options that have things in stock sooner and ship more quickly.

Unfortunately lately they have slowed down in their shipping and twice now they were out of stock on things I already ordered which never used to happen. I hope they get their act together because they have always been my go to for online ordering.
What is weird is that now Scrapbook.com is way faster.

They were my go-to store. Now, preorders are weeks after others and getting the stuff shipped that's a regular order takes a good week.
I am waiting on an order that won't arrive until I leave for a trip. So it will take 2.5 weeks to get to me. That's kind of crazy when I ordered the same day from Scrapbook.com and that order arrived 3 days later.

I'm sad to see there have been issues with shipping at ACOT, i've never had any issues at all with them. They are one of my favorite places to shop.

I find their shipping SUPER slow. They're in Michigan, right? I'm in Illinois. It takes a week for it to get to me.

My order arrives usually the very next day. And it always seems like they process is very quickly too. But I will say I have a lot of family in chicago and it seems like when I send them mail it takes 3 days to get there.

I just e-mailed them to find out when they expect the Sweater Weather Thickers and also when they were planning to update my account status since it's been almost a month. Hopefully they'll respond soon.

I'm willing to wait a little longer, because I always take advantage of their 20% off sales.
My last order contains a pre-order for Country Kitchen. I knew that wouldn't arrive at their warehouse until October.
Anything I need quickly I order on Amazon.
