Did has outgrown her jammies and has asked for new ones. Her b-day is next week and I'd love to pick her up something.
What do your tween girls sleep in? She isn't interested in kids jammies, like the Hannah Anderson ones I've bought, anymore.

My 11 year old DD will only wear short sets, even in the freezing winter. I get them at Target. Sometimes I have to order them on the website.
Good luck! I miss feetie jammies!

My girls wear shorts with a tee. In the winter they'll wear flannel pants.

I have 2 DDs 12 and 14
They sleep in t-shirts and shorts almost year-round
If it's cold, they wear flannel PJ bottoms or sweats
THe PJ bottoms are Kansas City Chiefs :-) and they came from Walmart for X-Mas last year.

Same stores I bought their clothes. I can't think of many clothing stores that didn't have a section of pjs, undies, bras etc.

My girls sleep in shorts or flannel bottoms and big, comfy t-shirts or tanks if it's hot. I only buy them a pair of pajamas for Christmas and I get them usually at Kohl's or Target.

I wish we still had target in Canada! Or that a walmart was close to me.
She has started shopping at a tween store that doesn't sell PJs. I drive 30 min to get to a justice this week only to find that all of the flannel bottoms in dd's side were sold out. She's on the cusp between kids / adult at the gap but when I went to look there was nothing in her size. I was encouraged to shop on line (so frustrating!!).
And I must admit that if I do have to go to more of an adult store (for example I've bought her one top at American eagle and one at Abercrombie) I found the sleepwear at these stores super expensive.

I have had luck at Aerie. My DD is 10 and they have sleep shirts and soft sleep pants that she likes a lot.
Because they have more of a juniors sizing, the ladies small fits her fine. (she is big for her age admittedly) I may have even bought a medium once.
They aren't terribly expensive. They usually have some kind of sale going on. I hate the Justice pyjamas- they all seem to be that awful poly mix. I just prefer cotton.

Do you have Super Store or Loblaws out there? Try Joe Fresh, it's in our grocery stores here but may be stand alone out west.

What size is your dd? At that age, dd still wore children’s sizes. So that she wasn’t wearing “baby clothes” I paid more for jeans and tops at stores like Delia’s, Ambercrombie, Aerie, Hollister, Loft. But she wore her Gymboree/Gap/Children’s Place pjs until she was about 13-14. We looked for stores that had 00 and petite sizing and that helped a lot.
A lot of the expensive teen store are much cheaper if you use sales, coupons and promotions. Usually about half off—that’s why it’s priced so high to begin with. So be sure to sign up for any rewards programs and emails.

My DD who is 14 has bought most of her PJ's at Target or Old Navy for the last few years. For me I have great luck with PJ's from Amazon.
When she was 12 or 13 I often bought Capri style adults which hit her more like pants.

Old Navy. But she mostly raids my husband's t shirt drawer.

DD is another that sleeps in shorts and tank tops or tshirts most of the year. She does have a few flannel pj pants from Old Navy. During the tween/early teen years this is also what all her friends wore for sleepovers.

Or maybe it's like the lingerie version of American Eagle- they tend to have lots of bras, swimwear and sleepwear. I have never been in American Eagle, so I am not sure how it is different! ETA I just went to their website and it does look pretty pricy, but I always have found fairly well priced outfits for her in store ($25 CAD for top and bottom set), so I would say it's still worth checking out.

I sew, and TBH my kid's favorite pajamas are always the ones I have made for her. I can whip up a simple nightgown in about 45 minutes or a pair of flannel PJ pants in about 25. Otherwise Kohl's or Herberger's would be my go-to places for things like that.
