I was very happy with PicMonkey for my editing, sizing, and collage making for a long time, but they just became a pay site that would cost me almost $50 a year to use. No thank you. I'm considering purchasing Corel PaintShop for editing, but I wouldn't be able to create collages on it.
I need a collage tool so that I can put two 3x4 images on a 4x6 print, among other things. What do you use?
I'm hoping you can tell me about a free online tool or a really low cost app. Any recommendations? (PC and Android user, if that matters)

I use photsheet. It use to be a free download now I think they said you have to pay. It is very easy to use and you can make several sizes on a 4 by 6.

I still download Picasa. It's no longer supported by Google but you can still download it and use it.

I've always used Photosheet. I think you have to pay for it now but it's way less Hahn $50 and it's a one time fee-not annual.

I'm considering purchasing Corel PaintShop for editing, but I wouldn't be able to create collages on it. Are you saying the program won't allow you to do collages or that you wouldn't be able to learn? PSP absolutely will let you arrange photos for collage; in fact I have a template for a 6 x4 print with space for 2 3 x 4 photos to be dropped onto it. I have a video about how to do it.

ihaveonly1l and nicolep, can the Project Life app be downloaded to a PC, or only to a phone? The app is only for your phone. I use the apple version, but I believe there is an android app too.

Yes, Photosheet is a good option. I think it's only $3.99. The free version I have is kind of buggy but I like it a lot and am tempted to try the paid version just in case it isn't as bare bones and the issues have been fixed.

Thanks for the video! It does look involved, but I think I'd be able to learn. If you wanted to try it I'd let you have the template to get started - and give you any help I can. PSP is a great workhorse, it will do anything you want - once you learn it There is a PL app for Android, though I've never used it really. mainly because I don't use the page sizes. Also, because I'm so used to being able to do what I want I find limitations annoying!

Thanks so much for linking your vid, Jane! I've been seriously considering a new editing program and this is one I haven't given much attention. In my search, I've watched too many Youtube videos and find most hard to follow or there's something distracting about them. I found your vid easy to understand and follow, well-spoken, overall quite professional.

And thank you for these lovely words. I appreciate you taking the time to tell me I've always loved PSP, it can do everything. I'm not always so keen on the updates to the program, but to be fair you don't always have to upgrade. I haven't moved to the new version yet because there are not enough new features to warrant it. The PSP videos haven't been as popular as my Silhouette videos, so I've put them on the back burner. However, if you (or anyone) would like to know more about how I use it for my photos, for scrapbooking, for creating print and cut embellishments or digital papers, then please ask me. I am so much better at answering questions than trying to think up what people want to know!
