I LOVE FALL! It is here (in the US at least) Y'all!!! I am so excited!!!!!! I don't have much time to scrap this time of year until next month, our Octobers are booked like most peoples summers or Decembers but I am making memories to use all the awesome goodies later! This month, I would like you to use any or a combination of the mood boards below to make your kit(s). Please include something traditionally "Fall" if you can or something in that shape (pumpkins/round, hay, corn, leaves, hot cocoa, fires, apples, sweaters/patterns of said sweaters etc). For the BASH part we are going to dig into RUB ONS or CHIPBOARD this month. Either or both is fine! Happy OCTOBER and HAPPY KITTING!

Great colours, crystalb! I think they are all in my Autumn iris case and my "school" case, and I hope to get some outside fall and back to school pix scrapped this month, so I will pretend those two cases are my kits!

I think I'll probably work from the first one but we'll see once I start pulling supplies. Hopefully I'll find some time this week to put my kit together.

Am I alone in remembering this line/company, and hording the few scraps of it I have left??? Nope. I have a roughly 6x8 piece of the pink pattern on the bottom left which is an old scrapworks paper. According to the date stamp on my gallery at Scrapbook.com it was uploaded in Nov 2006 which means I have been hoarding that scrap for nearly 11 years. These days the bigger challenge is probably finding other papers that will go well with it.

Great colours, crystalb ! Hey that works for me! I have all my Fall and School in huge cases too! I only have fall, school, and winter/Christams pulled that way! We went to an amazing farm this weekend and I spent all day printing photos off and on between fighting a migraine yesterday so I am going to match them to papers today hopefully. Save

Chinagirl828 that is a long time to hold on, but it is so pretty! I didn't think I'd had it quite that long. There's a little bit of pink in the first mood board so my goal this month is to get that paper on a page.

I brought out my case of fall and went rummaging thru my stash and found some more fall hiding. I purged some things I knew I wouldnt use and it all fits (with room to spare!) in the bigger case now! YAY! I also pulled things to do a Thankful/October daily so I started on that yesterday! YAY!

I used the first mood because it felt a bit brighter and I'm heading into warmer weather but I also used that old Scrapworks scrap to pick my papers. I've pulled heaps of scraps (cleverly disguised in this photo) and have another small pile that are not shown but I'm adding to the kit to help me meet my goal of using at least one full sheet and one scrap on every page I make this month. I've gone with something round which is the die cut paper on the far left, cork shapes, and enamel dots, and have pulled in a couple of sets of rub ons for my bash it item.

How is everyone doing on this one? I have my double big case full (not iris) and then another pulled for my 30 days of thankfulness/days of Fall album we have started! I LOVE this time of year!

I have done a few back to school pages and one fall page using the orange to brown part of the palette, but hoping to use more of the teal parts this next weekend at the crop while I did into my Fall iris case and scrap fall photos.
I also now have to get my hands on a sticker--or better, a chipboard--FOX. I have been resisting the cute little icons, thinking I don't REALLY need one, but now I need to tell a story about a dgs who thought participating in a Terry Fox run meant running on a busy highway with FOXES! I have only a couple of photos of the event, but I NEED to tell that story! And I need a fox to do it! (I AM going to snap a photo of a beanie fox I picked up for him, but what are sb icons for if you can't use them in the perfect situations?)

I know I've seen them there

Chinagirl828 , Karen, scraps? WOW! Stunning kit and great use of them! I am excited, as always, to see your pages! I've been busy using it, I just haven't posted anything online. I've made three pocket pages, a double layout and three singles using this kit (and some white cardstock) so far.

I made it my mission to use that Scrapworks scrap I've been hoarding for the last 11 years. It took a bit of brainpower to work out how to make it stretch across the full 24" width so lets just say there is a very definite reason there are two elements that extend below that piece. This layout also finished up one of my packs of rub ons for the bash it challenge.

That Sedona paper, wow! I think I have a little of that left, too! I'll see what I can put together this weekend after work.

I am seriously loving this month's challenge. I really thought I'd struggle with the autumn themed mood boards but I've made more layouts from this kit than any other challenge. In addition to the seven pages noted in my recent post above I've completed another two double page layouts and three more singles. This is my latest one:

Great job y'all! I love all the layouts! I think y'all made them rock.
Before I got sick and had to come home from my 3 day crop, I was able to knock out 12 or 13 layouts using my fall bin and almost all of them fit this mood board! SO YAY! I am glad this challenge helped us!
I have put up Nov AND Dec in the same thread since I know I will forget the first week of Dec!
