Need a new printer. Considering inkjet and laserjet. Would prefer something that can do well on pix but also do textual documents.
I love the idea of not throwing away ink cartridges every 2.7 seconds. Sustainability and carbon and all.
Anyone have one and willing to share opinions?
Or other opinions on a good all-around office/picture printer welcome. I mostly use the selphy for scrapping, but sometimes for work it's good to have a larger format printer.

I'm looking too, for an all-in-one. I looked at the eco tank units and they have pretty mediocre reviews. I am looking at an all in one Brother digital color laser printer but it's huge and I don't know where I'd put it.

Were the mediocre reviews for pix or just in general? I saw some decent reviews but they weren't photo specific.

I have the ET 2550, has good reviews on Amazon. Use it every day for PL journaling and photos plus my daughter prints home work for high school.
I bought it March 2016 and not running low on ink! With the Canon I was constantly buying cartridges. Print quality is good. Only drawback for me: Does add a white border to 4x6 format. Maybe I set it up wrong, idk. We are happy with this printer.

I have the ET-3600 and I really like it. I've had it a year (almost to the day) and I'm still on my first lot of ink with no sign of running out soon. In all honesty, I'm not sure if I'd buy it for myself (I was sent this for a blogger thing), but the ink wells are such a good idea. It is pretty big and you do get a white border on 4x6 photos with no way of changing that (unless you print on larger paper and crop I suppose), but the quality of the photos and documents is top notch. It ate my (printable) acetate and tracing paper though. It's a printer for the office rather than crafters I think.
