I'm grateful for so many things in my life and I want to reflect on gratitude everyday. Today I'm grateful for kind people sharing kind words. I'm also grateful for my sons for bringing a little gift home for me this afternoon. I asked for chocolate, thinking Hershey kisses or something at a convenience store where they pick up their Mean Bean drinks. Instead they went to a specialty store and brought home... Attachments:

How sweet is that! Gratitude is a wonderful thing to focus on!! Today I'm thankful for a lot of things--that I got to speak to my sister on the phone, that my stomach feels better than it did yesterday, that I have friends and family that love me! That I can count of the Lord's love!

How lovely.
Today I am particularly grateful that I live close to my DD and my SIL who have an 11 month old son, our first grandchild. I am so lucky that I get to see him often and enjoy the simple joy of his smiles and giggles, his babbling, his perfect skin, his soft blonde baby hair, his dimpled knuckles and his big blue eyes and even the dribbling and the tears when he's tired.

I’ve kept a gratitude journal for years. I started one right before I tried to get my DH to do one. I figured maybe he’d see all of what he did have instead of constantly complaining- didn’t work for him. I started out with an official Oprah gratitude journal but it morphed and now I do it in a small notebook almost daily.
It just helps to put things in perspective some days.
Today I’m thankful for healing from my injury My kids are doing my well And although my day started off poorly I turned it around

I am grateful your my caring and hardworking husband and our children. I have always encouraged them to have an attitude of gratitude.
Hope you enjoyed your chocolate! I know mine would have come home with a candy bar like KitKat. -- whick I would have been grateful for!

I am always grateful for chocolate!
I am also grateful to have a job that I like that is three miles from my house. It has been a long, long time ago, but I still remember my bus-and-subway commute to Manhattan when I lived in NY. I could walk to work now if I had to! Also grateful that working for the local Primary School means I don't have to go when the weather is bad/dangerous as school is usually closed.

I'm grateful for the millennials I work with. They are so fun. The morale at our company is awful, but our department is having fun.
I joke that I am running a day care, but I adore them.

I'm grateful that a procedure I had today gave me clear answers about a recurring problem. Now I know why and that will help me deal w/a chronic situation.

Sweet thread!!! I'm happy for all of you! I had a HORRID start of my day. I was in bed until 3 pm, crying with migraine pain. I took my opioids (no luck), then sudafed (no luck), then my migraine rescue Rx (Maxalt), no luck............. Hours later I chanced it and took 2 Excedrin and it worked. (I'm not supposed to take aspirin or I could bleed out). I was able to get out of bed and semi-function. Grateful for talking my DS27 through making a pot of homemade sauce with meatballs and sausage. He did a GREAT job + we chatted during his cooking. He told me that he had the happiest memories of being a little kid on a stepstool, watching me cook...... So sweet! To top it all off, I got an email at 10:30 tonight from my "angel surgeon". He was checking on me to see if this new surgeon had contacted me (I had no luck trying to get in touch with them). Finally he wrote back saying, "They'll call YOU in the morning! Good luck". I'm sooooo very touched!!!!!!!!! (and hopeful).

I do and it does help me, but I still require a quiet darkened room to rest so I usually have to leave work when I get them. P.S. Wonderful DS you have!

I try to practice gratitude every day and have a special spot in my planner each day to note what I'm grateful for.
Today I'm grateful that I did my workout this morning and don't have to try to fit it in tonight.

I'm grateful for a last minute dinner with family last night. Lots of laughs and time with people I love and don't get to see nearly enough. I'm also thankful for an empty schedule at work for this morning, giving me time to catch up on some housework so my weekend time is a little more fun!

I'm grateful every day for my wonderful, loving husband, who has provided the means for me to once again live in Florida. For rolling with it when I said "I'm going to bid on a house being auctioned today and if I win it the RE Agt. says she will go look at it tomorrow".

I normally do take the Maxalt when my "migraines" begin. I normally begin "Pain Pea" threads since my issue is involved and ongoing. It'll never go away; only get worse in time. I have a Pain Mgmt team and they help, but my medical issue is beyond the scope of almost ALL surgeons down here. I DID finally get that appt with a new OculoPlastic Surgeon for this month and I'm thrilled! I've waited for this for a very long time (over 18 mos). Hoping she'll take my case on.......... Thanks, about my son--hard to believe that he was on drugs ("everything") for years and now he's been sober for over 4 years. I couldn't be more grateful that I have him in my life, when I thought I wouldn't. More than 70% of his high school graduating class has died, all from drugs. I thank God that we were able to pull him out of that, with a LOT of family pressure and love.

As soon as I get home there is a planner on my table that I write a grateful thought for the day. Every day.
Other than knowing that I have my favorite brick oven pizza to go home to (bday surprise from DH). I am grateful for YouTube. 12 years ago when I was diagnosed with MS there wasn't anyone on YT talking about their experience with the illness. FF to today, I spent the entire morning watching videos hubs found about people who changed their diet and have no symptoms (and I'm grateful for a DH who has very often been more on top of the research than I am).

Today I had to go for blood tests for my ongoing health issues. I'm grateful for the NHS, that I don't have to pay for any of my treatments, and that I have been able to find something that works! I am always so grateful for my DH who comes with me to every test, every appointment, and is always by my side. I'm grateful for our new pets (degus - a type of rodent) who are super cute. Now if I could only figure out how to post a photo I would share their cuteness with you all

Right now, I'm grateful for my husband. Arcadia brewing left our town (where they started) to focus on their second location. They released a coffee porter that I tried and loved last year. This year, they bottled it! Problem is that their new hometown gets all the love. Thankfully, dh works in that town. I sent him a picture of a display Arcadia posted, saying it's too bad the store is out of his way. He replied with, only 10 minutes. I'll stop there and get a 6 pack. This is a man who is willing to do little things like that just to make me happy. I played with my hair, adding purple streaks. He replied with love it.

I ❤️ reading your Pea posts! Today I am grateful for the sounds of my sons upstairs giggling and having a good time together. They are grown (25 & 22) and mostly grown (13) but it's a sound I never tire of hearing!
