I am not loving my eyelashes. They are only a 6/10 and they were a 9.5/10. I am back to using the drops every night again. I will also throw out the mascara I am using now and start something new or hunt for Better than Sex by Too Faced. I have it on the go. This Spanish one I am using was excellent. I loved it but I think it's done. I like Tarte's Gifted mascara and Benefit's They're Real

I had a spectacularly bad makeup day today, my new Models Own blusher is way too bright and the navy blue smokey eye I spent ages on does not suit me at all! I look like I stepped straight out of the 80s or possibly a clown car Thank goodness it washes off. On a better note, I got some of this Dr pawpaw in my Christmas stocking and it's amazing for dry lips.

It was all glittery and made my eyelids look brown. Oh man I really hate it. I don't know what to do with it. It is totally unpigmented and looks dreadful compared to Tarte. It doesn't blend at all and I still have glitter on my face. Clown car rider check in. What would you do with it?

Clown car rider check in. happy to have you along for the ride. If it was a cheaper eyeshadow I'd just say bin it but it's Dior so I'm not sure! Maybe spritz your brush with some setting spray and see if it works that way?

I will try it again. Just the frigging glitter though. It's still on my face! I glow! Also, I was going to get a navy eye shadow pallet and I am so glad I didn't. It was all glitter, too. Yeah so I will draw from your navy experience and mine with Dior and call it a firm pass. I am glad I didn't get it at all!

I only have one pallet with Navy. Itβs BH Cosmetics Modern Neutrals. I love it because itβs all matte. Has a great range and offers peaches, browns, pinks, gray and navy. I havenβt seen them in stores, but bought mine online...I remember it was inexpensive and an Emilynoel (YouTube) recommendation..or at least the brand was). Thank you! I'll look this up!

She's my favorite to watch- so down to earth. She causes me to spend $ though! I bought an UD Naked Smokey palette on Black Friday and tried about 4 times to wear it- switching out the shadows. They put something in their eye make-up (including eye liner pencil) that always works its way into my eye and covers my contact- always the left side. That eye is drier than the right one and it just doesn't work. I took that contact out 3 times and rinsed on Christmas Eve... Anyway- I went on chat to ask about them sending me a return label because I didn't have my original invoice. She refunded my card and said keep the palette! Great customer service! Those colors are so pretty -wish I could wear it.

Hi I have some brush questions or opinions. I have several brushes that I like to use all the time. I find once I use it (foundation) I might want it again for something else but it isn't clean any longer. I have found I just don't have enough. I have watched several brush videos and reviews and think I know what I would like. I also like this one brand my local high end drugstore carries (they are a boutique drugstore and carry Guerlain, Shiseido, Clinique, Philosophy, Origins, etc.) I have about 6 or 8 Quo brushes, but there just aren't enough.
What do you do for brushes? Whose do you like and reach for the most? Anything you hate and would suggest DO NOT BUY?
I have heard Japanese brushes are very good. Are they what you use/want? The Wayne Goss brushes I like are cruelty free and are handmade. They are an investment, but I would like to try one out before I went and ordered $200 worth of them. Do you have a favourite I should try first?
I am open to advice.

I have Tarte blush, setting spray, highlighter, plenty of eye shadow palets and I love everything. It's a pretty awesome company for me. I will look at their brushes. Maybe I will have to get them.

I tried the Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage foundation (I received a sample) and oh my, is it silky and lovely. Does anyone use this on a daily basis?

Dumb question but how did you choose which colour to order? I am usually the lightest shade possible but not always. The swatches on the website aren't that good. It looks kind of yellowy to me. Thoughts?

I read that you really shouldn't use waterproof mascara on a regular basis as it is really harsh on your lashes. I would think it would have to be due to the chemicals necessary to make it waterproof. I don't like it because it's harder to get off. I very rarely use it - even when at the pool or beach. I just skip mascara on lower lashes there to help prevent raccoon eye. I use IT cosmetics brushes. Get them from Ulta. I use the same and am perfectly satisfied with them.

I got this in an Ipsy bag a couple of months ago and love it! I use this in Fiesty or LancΓ΄me delicate oil free in Miel GlacΓ©. They are totally different in color but they both work. Lisa G.

Dumb question but how did you choose which colour to order? I am usually the lightest shade possible but not always. The swatches on the website aren't that good. It looks kind of yellowy to me. Thoughts? I have fair skin and use Fiesty. It looks really bright and I never would have picked it myself (got it from Ipsy). Iβve always been matched for foundation and blush. If I receive a sample from a monthly box, Iβll try it. Ask them at Sephora to help. It can be a pia, but you leave with the right color(s). Lisa G.

One of my daughters gave me a trial version of IT Superhero Mascara for Christmas. I LOVE it! No flaking and I feel it makes my eyes look a little brighter!

I received some Mario Badescu skincare for Christmas and the Seaweed night cream has become non-negotiable in my routine. It keeps my skin so hydrated.

Last year I finally discovered a mascara that doesn't leave me looking like a raccoon - High Volume Mascara by Trish McEvoy. It's a tubular mascara that stays put all day and only needs warm water to remove it. It's pricey though at $31.50/tube. I was wondering if anyone knows of another mascara like this that is a bit more affordable.

I was at Sephora yesterday after happy hour and was more than tipsy myself. I bought Drunk Elephant TLC sukari babyfacial and I was talked into a sample of Protini Peptide Cream. Now I am in love and have to go back again today to buy it. I also have to stay out of Sephora and not drink and have pupus at happy hour. I ended up at another store, too. Oh man!

I received a sample of CILS booster XL in my LancΓ΄me order. Itβs a mascara primer. Anyone use this? Never thought much about a mascara primer. I love Definicils, itβs my go to mascara, but I also received a sample of Monsieur Big mascara. I used it today and liked it. I really liked the brush.

I can definitely tell when I don't use it everyday. We went to Las Vegas over NYE and I didnt want to hail everything, so I chose to leave the lotion at home. I really missed not having it and my skin did not feel as good as it does after I use it. SaveSave
