Seriously, she is like the Regina George of the feline world. She's beautiful and she knows it. She looks down on you till she wants something from you, takes your stuff....she really does take stuff and hides it.....pees places she shouldn't when she's mad, won't snuggle, hates to be held probably for fear of getting germs from you or something, knocks stuff off tables and counters because she can....just stuff like that. She is the reason people hate cats. She won't go outside to save her life. She torments the dog She is a waste of space and fur. But honestly I adore her. Anyone else have a cat like her? Here she she is with my cute son and dog Huck who is begging for her approval. Doesn't she just look like a princess? eta.....as I was posting this I know she KNEW I was talking about her because she jumped up on my bed and curled up beside me and was purring. Manipulative wench.

My cat is sweet with touches of bitch- when she feels the need. Just called her that earlier tonight as she was in that mood. Daughter thought it was especially insulting (thus appropriate) to call at cat a bitch. And that she (cat) deserved it.

I hate to speak ill of the dead, but my male cat was a jerk. I had scratches and bite marks all over my ankles for 12 of those years. I used to like walking around in my underwear (in my own house), but he kept trying to crawl up my back with his claws. I was afraid to take out the trash, because he would always attack. It definitely wasn't playful. He was potty trained for 5 years and then decided one day that he didn't like his litter box anymore. He would wait until you made eye contact before spraying the walls. The spray bottle method of training did not work with him. When my kids were born, he became a bit nicer. To them.

Well she is a rarity! That is probably why she is so catty. Where did you find an orange girl? My guy looks almost like her.

I know Meg....I think most gingers are male, right? I got her free a few years ago. Her mom was a calico. Dad was the neighbor tomcat.

One of my male cats was like that. He was super sweet to DH, to me, not so much. He would follow me around , meowing, and when I would stop to see what he was bitching about, he would walk up to something and piss all over it :/ He was a real jerkwad, but I sure did cry like a baby when he passed away after 17 years last summer. In his lift time, Cacahuate ruined the following: 2 toasters, 1 toaster over, a coffee pot, several pots and pans, a Christmas tree skirt, several shoes, many pieces of clothing (mostly mine).. all mostly peed one or destroyed with his atomic sticky poop. Needless to say, he had his moments of joy, but life has been a little less stressful not worrying about puddles of cat piss being in hidden spots

We have a calico named Misty that thinks she's a dog. She has been raised and living with our family of Jack Russell Terriers. If the dogs go out into our fenced in back yard she goes with them. If we go for a walk with the dogs she follows. If we give the dogs a treat, she has to have one of their treats also. We have a picture window with a sofa and sofa table in front of it. I gave up on the plant and lamp that I had on top of the table since they were always knocked off by the cat and dogs because they would sit up there together to look outside. She used to sleep with our female dogs but now sleeps away from them with my DD.
She's fifteen and uses the litter box so we don't have any problems with accidents. The only issue with her is her clock. She definitely let's you know when feeding time is approaching as she cries until she gets fed. We feed her up on the counter so the dogs dont get to her food, luckily we have a large amount of countertop and its not by any food prep area. But at the end of the feeding she knows one of the JRT's loves her food and she will push her plate onto the floor for him to lick it clean.
Our Misty is quite a character.

My kitty boy is usually a sweetheart. Except when he isn't. I bring him in before dark because we live next to a regional park and there are coyotes around. Unfortunately, he went out again with the dog and I didn't realize it. I was outside calling and calling him (he generally comes when he's called) and my neighbor rang me on my mobile. Apparently he was relaxing on her patio and giving himself a bath. He'd stop and listen when I called and then go back to his grooming. Brat.

I have a male ginger...I mean, orange tabby. He is super high maintenance and will only accept attention when HE feels like it. His name is Nemo, but he acts like such a freaking diva that we nicknamed him Prince and got him a new name tag. Seriously...every orange tabby I've known has been friendly. I do love him dearly, and only occasionally hold him up a la The Lion King to pay him back for his crappy attitude.

Yes, I have a cat like that. We've had her since she was a little kitten but when I come near her, she acts like I've tried to kick her to the moon. She cowers and just acts irritated if I try to pet her. Everyone else in the family can at least pet her but she's never been a snuggle kitty like our other two (unrelated). She's ruined furniture and overall, she's just a nuisance but I'd be sad if something happened to her. We've had her nearly 9 years. She's also bitchy to my favorite cat. She's a black cat but not sure that has anything to do with her personality.

My cats rule the house ... the dog and people are just their minions THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!! In our house, Hektor is the Godfather. He rules with a fist of iron. Achilles is his hired muscle. Once I found the tail and back legs of a lizard on my pillow. STILL TWITCHING!!! . Achilles put it there, cos he was sitting next to it, waiting for applause. But I know Hektor told him to do it. Little shit.

I love both my cats...but often say that if they were people I probably wouldn't like them at all. Our female (Tuesday) is sweet but honestly not very bright. She'd be a naive air head as a person. Our boy (Gus) is a bully. As a person, he'd be an obnoxious and ill mannered brat.
They do rule the house, but all is forgiven at the end of the day when they jump up in your lap and want to cuddle.

Oh, I have a redheaded wench just like yours. She will come in, rub affectionately against your legs and if you don't drop what you're doing and feed HRH, she nudges you a couple of times, and then bites!!!
She is arrogant, snotty, stuck up, refuses to be cuddled, only wants to sit on your lap when you're wearing black and she can leave visible hair all over you....and don't even think about leaving her and going on vacation, she WILL pee in your suitcase the minute your back is turned. Bitch!

She is the reason people hate cats. As I read your first paragraph I was thinking, "and this is why I am a dog person."

Aww, your cat is beautiful I'm sitting here lovingly petting my little devil, who is purring contentedly. I do this even though I know, any second now, it will just be too much and he will bite me and run away. Then he will either go annoy the older cat; jump up on the table he's not allowed on; go destroy one of my plants, etc. and yet I love him madly.

I'm totally pissed off at my cat. The other day he peed on my favorite boots and ruined them. Then last night he peed on my iron. I refuse to turn it on now.

Leanne that picture is too funny ! I have had my oldest son's friends cat here for 3 months as he was working out of town. It took her about a month to really warm up to us and get used to us and the house, now she roams the place like it is hers. Follows me around everywhere, sits in the bathroom window while I get ready every morning, sits on my lap at night when I watch tv. I think he is going to be picking her up sometime this week. I am really going to miss her .

our Winston's nicknames are "Kracken" and "Tyranasaurus Rex". To take him to the vet I have to take him for 'happy visits', they let him explore the offices while they are closed for lunch...before they can do any poking and examining. And that has to be split into a couple of visits
When I work out to the Wii, he attacks my feet. When I take a shower, he is 'peeking' at me from the bathtub in the attack position, and has been known to chase me to my bed. oh, and don't let your hands and feet hang off the bed! ...but never does these things to dh. DH calls him his 'trained attack cat'.
DH rescued him from a litter of barn cats when he was about a month old, it was a super hot summer, mom was failing and a sibling had already passed.
I do love the li'l stinker, when he is not in one of his moods, he is a LOVE, and actually a very good companion. (and thankfully no peeing issues) (that is him in my avatar when we first got him, now he is 18 lbs of trouble)

I don't have a cat but understand your plight. When I dropped my terrier off at the kennel for the first time I warned them that he was an asshole.

Hahaha cats are jerks! That's why I like them. My cat is curled up next to me, purring, as I type this. He's usually very affectionate with me but he hates most people. For some reason, he's very particular about his sides. Only I am allowed to touch them; anyone else who tries will get swift justice rained down upon them.
I absolutely adore him.

Yea, our cat doesn't give a rip about us. She just isn't needy. It really bugs my daughter, who lost her super-snuggley kitty a couple years ago.
