this.
I think if I were locked in a room with just sheets, an iron and an ironing board, I might do it.

I'd probably lay the flat sheet on the floor, ball up the fitted sheet like a pillow and take a nap.

Ummmmmmmm, how about NEVER. Just like I would NEVER iron underwear. LOL I actually don't iron much of anything. I suck at it, putting more ironed in wrinkles that I started with. Either DH does his own shirts, or the dry cleaner does.

If my sheets are too wrinkly, I iron them.
I don't like to get into bed and feel the wrinkles. I need the sheets to be smooth and cool.
I also have to shave my legs every single night right before bed because I can't stand the feeling of stubble on my smooth sheets.
I guess I have some sensory issues.
But then I also iron my kids clothes (even tshirts) almost every day.

The only time my sheets are truly "wrinkly" is if I leave them in the dryer without folding them. Then I'll just wash then again.... I cannot imagine ironing sheets.... Just a the logistics of it give me the shakes...

I might iron my sheets if the Queen was coming to stay.
MyShelly, you may have some ironing issues...

Pretty much never. I am not an ironer, unless it's completely and totally necessary. Sheets would never make it into that category.

I do not know where my iron is. Domestic fail. My iron is right where I left it. On a shelf in the laundry closet, in the same unopened box it came in when I bought it.

I would use the iron to whack my way through the sheetrock.

My iron broke, so i don't have one. I have a de-wrinkle setting on my dryer. I'd just use that.
My grandmother used to iron every piece of her laundry. I' mean every piece. Her underwear, towels, everything she washed. She used a wringer washer until she had a massive stroke in the late 70s. She hung every thing to dry on a clothes line outdoors. She never owned a dryer.

I ironed my new duvet and shams after washing. They were pretty wrinkly. The next washing, they were fine. Sheets? Nope.

Ironing sheets? Why? My iron is used maybe two or three times a year. And certainly never for something that doesn't get seen outside my bedroom.

I am racking my brain and can't come up with anything except the previously mentioned life saving thing. I hate ironing. I suck at ironing. If something MUST be ironed - which is rare- I usually get my dh to do it since he's better at it.
