Oh my gosh me too. His character was brilliant. I hope they keep using flashbacks of him for little life lessons and words of wisdom. I adore his character so much.

None of the characters bother me at all. I love them all. It's a lot of drama, but it is a drama show. If one of them wasn't going through something, then what would the purpose of them being on the show. It would be rather boring if (let's say) Kevin, was just normal, making a movie, going home to his sweetheart. Sooo in my opinion, they all have to have 'something' to keep their character going.
Randall is my favorite, along with Becca and her hubby, Kate and Kevin, then Toby (he doesn't bother me at all.. a little over the top goofy but I like him)... Deja and all the kids are pretty darn good as well... I haven't lost one bit of interest and can't wait for the next episode!

I think Deja does trust Randall (deep down), otherwise she would not have told him about the magazines and hitting.
She is definitely making him EARN her trust.

I love all the characters and am glad each has his/her demons but I’m hoping we don’t see a predictable road for Kevin. Maybe it’s because I like Kevin I don’t want to see him go the addiction road.

Donning my flame retardant suit... I'm not liking this season and have already decided I'm done. I'm not loving this season either. I also feel like I could read a recap from this thread and be fine. I guess they wanted to address the current opiate problem, but there is just too much drama in one show. I think they are showing how there can be a genetic component because of his father and grandfather being alcoholics. I keep thinking they are going to show more from his first knee surgery operation. He was fighting taking any pain medication for a while after the second one. I thought it was odd.
