This is so weird. I just got my big bite out last night to see if I could remember how to use it to set eyelets. I still have quite a few and have always loved them. I was packing for a crop. I might use my eyelet setter and hammer at home, but never at a crop

I love eyelets but can't set them very easily. I'm glad they're coming back though, maybe I'll be able to buy some. Then I'll need lessons in how to use my pink Big Bite to set them www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVN1AZZz3pw.

Just watched some Vicki P on you tube. in her last card video and scrapbook page video she uses...gasp...eyelets! Do you have a link to the video? I'd love to see if she did anything "new" with them ETA: I love me some Vicky P, and now I've spent the last hour watching her card videos while I'm working on my own. I found some tastefully restrained eyelet use at the end of a January 2017 card video. Nothing new or weird. Just nice. So sorry....I have no idea how to link-it was her SSS card kit video with the latest” kind “kit

I used to set eyelets along the border or in the corner of a page, then run ribbon through them. When tags were a popular embellishment I used them all the time. They finally got purged though. And yes, back in the scrapbooking Stone Age I had the little hammer to set them. I never used it at night because I was afraid it would wake the neighbors. I still have the Cropadile for whole punching though.

I still use them very occasionally but (shockingly) I still use a hammer to set them.

I love eyelets! Still have thousands. I have the handheld Cropadile and the free standing 12 inch Cropadile. I still use them both. I must say though, I also loved the old fashioned small hammer/set for making holes and setting eyelets.

I haven't used eyelets in forever and a day and I don't intend to start again, lol.

One of my favorite tools...big bite. I use it a lot for so many things including non scrappy stuff. I still use eyelets, but brads much more.

I haven’t used eyelets in years. I just picked up the pink Big Bite for $3 at a card yard sale a few weeks ago. I think I’ll go watch that YouTube video posted above. 😄

I have lots of eyelets because I collected them and rarely used them.--LOL I think I'll take a look at them again and maybe, just maybe I'll use some of them for Christmas tags.

I always use eyelets on my tags. Yep! I like the finished look of tags with an eyelet at the top. Me, too. I don't like the look of a "bare" hole in a tag.

I haven't used eyelets in forever and a day and I don't intend to start again, lol. this is me! even using my MM setter (forget what it’s called but not the tool set with the hammer) eyelets were too much trouble. and i’ve never had good luck with the cropadile for anything but punching holes. yet another trend i’m happy to bypass

I think they can be a staple in scrapbooking. They are pretty generic looking. I've never used them because I didn't want to invest in the tool. I also didn't like the idea of pounding them (before crop-a-dile). Now, brads. I will always use those.

Three different colors! Time to dust off the Cropadile! Ha, ha - that's what I was thinking! This is when being a SAVER (aka hoarder?) is wonderful!!
