LOL I still have eyelets and my cropadile. I never had very many eyelets so I didn't save many lol. I have no idea how to use my cropadile to set an eyelet- I don't know how many years it has been, 8 maybe?

I saw eyelets were making a comeback the other day on Instagram. I love eyelets and still use them. I haven't used them in a while. I was planning later on today to orgaize my eyelet box. I think this thread came at the perfect time, lol. I just ordered a new set of eyelets on Ebay the other night. I forgot how to use my Crop-A-Dile. I had to find some videos on YouTube.

I never stopped using eyelets! I don't use them often, and can't remember the last time I bought some, but I still love them:)

Just watched some Vicki P on you tube. in her last card video and scrapbook page video she uses...gasp...eyelets! Do you have a link to the video? I'd love to see if she did anything "new" with them ETA: I love me some Vicky P, and now I've spent the last hour watching her card videos while I'm working on my own. I found some tastefully restrained eyelet use at the end of a January 2017 card video. Nothing new or weird. Just nice.

I have the Provo craft easy set thing a madoozie and it was perfect for eyelets! I had thousands of eyelets and used them all the time. But last year i sold a huge lot of old stuff and eyelets were in it. I'm too lazy to use them now. Same with sewing. I loved how it looked on my pages but I'm way too lazy for that.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

Of course they are back, I have managed to lose, purge and ignore my collection and now that I only own about 3, "guess what's trendy?"

ALTNEW Why didn't I know about this company? I'm going shopping! Alt&New has been the new cool kid this year. They have a lot of layering stamps and people rave about their inks.

I loved eyelets! I had these 3 spring things to set them. My daughter has mentioned how much quieter scrapbooking has become 10 years later!
I like to loosely set them and all the tags or what not to fan out if wanted.

Yes! I'm all set! I have tons of eyelets and a pink Cropadile and a pink Big Bite! Plus, I have an orange Big Bite that I gave to DH to punch holes in belts, etc. I like eyelets but for some reason, haven't used them recently. I guess partly because I'm into popup cards and just haven't remembered to figure out how to incorporate them in those cards.

I always use eyelets on my tags. Yep! I like the finished look of tags with an eyelet at the top. ETA: I was at a crop a few years ago and some lady pulled out the eyelet setter thing and a HAMMER! Gosh, get a grip lady and get a Cropadile!!! That's the only thing I hated about eyelets back in the day...

I cannot see myself using eyelets much again but I would possibly use a hole punch and then little enamel dots that have a hole in the center like an eyelet. Just peel and stick!

I love eyelets but can't set them very easily. I'm glad they're coming back though, maybe I'll be able to buy some. Then I'll need lessons in how to use my pink Big Bite to set them

Exactly this...I don't use eyelets often, but when I punch a hole on top of a tag or elsewhere, I love the neat and tidy look that it gives...I think it looks less handmade. I recently made my nephew a birthday card shaped like a Converse sneaker and put the eyelets in all the holes for the laces...it definitely elevated the look of the card.
