For those who have copic markers, what type of storage do put them in. I need some ideas. Can you post your photos?

So... I don't have any Copic markers in my hands ... yet ... because I just placed my first order to try a few Ciao markers. I feel like this is the beginning of the end! Anyway while I was placing my order, I saw these two storage solutions: from www.scrapbookpal.com/copic-marker-block-stand/The stand is pricey but I like the look of it. Each block fits 36 markers. They also have these cases (of different sizes too), which are much more affordable: www.scrapbookpal.com/copic-ciao-marker-empty-case-24-pc/Anyway, I'm glad you started this thread because I'm looking for ideas too! Did you end up buying the markers? I saw your thread about Ciao vs Sketch and I think that helped me push me over the edge and try them out. ETA: I saw you bought the set - how cool! I just went with a few colors to try them out first, can't wait to get them!!

I ended up buying set A 72 sketch marker set. It was driving me crazy think about which colors. I know how I am. If there's a collection of some scrappy stuff I'll want it all. If you buy set A-E. you have completed the set. Now only 4 more sets to go. If I like them. I will buy set Bin December. The only thing is I don't need 30 odd shades of gray. For you professional artist. Why does on need so many grays?

jstblondie Your set A should come with the clear plastic storage container. When I buy more pens I'd like to get something similar to what cristinac posted the photo of. But I may get something similar to this => Pen Storage because it will match my ink pad storage unit. I hope you enjoy your pens. I've had mine since Monday and so far I love them.

Well I received my markers today. I tested them out but probably not on the right paper. A lot of the markers seem to be a bit dry. Is this normal due to the wrong paper? I was excited to get these markers but was a bit disappointed. I don't know if I just have a bad batch or it is the paper. I really don't want the hassle of returning them.

Copics don't work very well on regular paper or cardstock. Try using them on a smooth bristol or vellum, and you'll see a big difference.

I got a basket from the dollar spot. Nothing special, but it works and is hard for my cat thief to take them out of. They're one of his favorite toys.

That's a nice set up. Is it ok to store Copics upright? I always thought they were supposed to be on their side.
