Thank you for sharing. That is beautiful! Wonder why there is only 24 and not 25? Isn't that how Advents work? The chocolate ones we had and my kids had only had 24 in them. On the 24th you're done counting, it's a countdown, so zero sleeps on the 25th. I bought a couple and wasn't going to get one last year but my sister bought me one. They are so cute but I really prefer mainly black teas.

Thank you, Disney Pal! I'd never heard of it but ordered one for my DH. We are living in different places/states so this will make his December cheery. I hope! I'm also ordering one for my DD, who has a birthday next month.
The Peas rock!

I just got an email that mine was shipped. I look forward to this every year!
Just a heads up to double-check your shipping charges before you place your order if you click through an email link to the website. I ordered via a link in an email I rec'd yesterday and didn't realize until after I'd placed my order that I had been charged $25 international shipping! It turns out I was identified as Canadian in my account and so the link took me to the Canadian website instead of the US one. I called customer service and they kindly cancelled the original order, corrected my account, and then sent me a link to order on the US site.

I got a different brand one year and enjoyed the cup a day. My problem is that I have 2 tea drinkers, and $90 in tea sounds like a lot. I also want to get some of the themed Adagio tea tins as stocking stuffers. It depends. I've had them that start at Thanksgiving, on the first of December, or that actually cover the Advent season (which is late this year - Dec. 3-24).

The one I got two years ago was mostly fruit and herb infusions and I wasn't thrilled with it.

I bought last year and didn't enjoy it. I only liked 6 teas out of the whole thing.
Not buying it this year.

Maybe it's a Canadian thing that they are 24 days because they couldn't start at Thanksgiving or they would be 12 weeks long 😉

I bought these the past few years and they have been well received, but they were gifts for older women. One was for my older aunts and they were able to easily get several teas from each container. They're so pretty, too!

DH begged for one last year, so I got it for him and gave it to him at Thanksgiving. He still has yet to drink ONE darn cup of tea from that thing. I don't think he's getting one this year.

JustCallMeMommy, I ordered one the year before last ... Each small tin was enough tea for me an a co-worker to each have a big cup of tea every day.
disneypal, Thanks for the heads-up!
I actually had this on my calendar to check for on November 1! I was gonna get one for me and one for my sister that lives one state away so we could enjoy them through the holidays together ... I was just about to hit the submit button and backed out on the $90! I will probably regret not ordering, but it's a lot of cashola right now! Thank you very much for the reminder though!!!!

I remember having this problem last year, so knew to make sure I was on the US site this time. Often, the sale items and free samples differ, as well as having to pay international shipping!

Thanks for posting this!
I was eagerly waiting for the release thinking it would be the perfect Advent calendar for my vegan son, but sadly it looks like there's white chocolate and white chocolate chips in some of the teas so I guess I'm still looking...

Thank you so much for posting this. I missed it in my email today. Thanks to last year's Advent Calendar thread, I discovered David's Tea --after it sold out. I joined the Frequent Steepers club, but then the store near me closed. The link took me to the Canadian site, but fortunately I noticed that the price was in CAD. I had to delete it from my cart and finally figured out how to get to the US site. I am so happy that I was able to get one this year.

Some of the samples in the calendar don't appear to have any tea in them at all, but adding some loose black or green tea to them makes them very enjoyable IME. Most of them, anyway!

I've seen you all speak of this every year -- this year I bought 3! I'm thinking that Mother and my sister will each get one - and each day, I'll write an email for "tea time". That is the thinking anyway.

I've looked at these for the last 2 or 3 years and always talk myself out of it because it feels like a splurge. Well, I just went for it this year. I usually just buy tea bags so this will be my first round with loose leaf teas. Which means I obviously had to buy a spoon and infuser on top of the advent calendar . Geesh, I just bought myself a $65 gift 1 month before my birthday and 2 months before Christmas.

You can just go to the grocery store and get a tea ball ... or I like the tea cups that come with a little screen in the top and a cover to steep the tea. Also, you can get little tea bags that are empty and you can fill them yourself with your new tea. There are tons of ways to make it! :-) Have fun!

Was it $45 last year? I can't find my receipt from last year. It was $40 last year and the year before. I got one for my husband and me, it's a lovely tradition. My last order was for last year's calendar so I also stocked up on our favorite teas.

I ordered mine. This is my second year buying one and I love most of the teas, I also love the colors this year. I am going to cut the numbers off of last year's boxes and use them in my DD album this year and the tins are great for storing small embellishments.

I just ordered one and indeed I was sent to the Canadian site. Double check when you are ordering because I had qualified for "free shipping" and just as I was submitting my order, I saw it switched and the shipping was 25 dollars. Lucky I caught it in time. Thanks for sharing. This will be perfect gift for a friend of mine. : )

I was so excited to see the David's Tea box at my door when I got home. My excitement turned to disappointment when I saw the box was really dented on two corners. Even though the box was packed with those air-filled plastic bags, the calendar was crushed in the corner. Of course the tins were okay, but I was hoping to reuse the the calendar. I emailed customer service with pictures of the both before I opened it and after so I'll see how they respond.
Did anyone receive theirs yet?
