That kitten takes tiny things to play with and then we never find them again. Seriously my daughter top retainer is missing and we are ripping our house apart to try to find it. My DD is offering a $50 reward to the person who finds it.
Usually kitten leaves her "toys" in the dog's water dish. I keep hoping it will end up there.

I think we need a picture of said kitten so we can judge whether it looks like it steals things or not!

Mine likes to hide her finds under the area rug in the living room. At least it is the place I have discovered.

I find a stash of cat toys, hair ties, a couple socks, and a bra under my bed in a neat pile.

DD has a new guy too. To avoid the experience of her horrible periods, she recently had to pay out of pocket for replacement birth control that "walked" away. Of course they walked back after replacement.
Mischievous, they are. Good thing for them they're cute.

I'm going to spend hundreds of dollars to replace it only to have it turn up again.

My Russian blue kitty loves to put his toys in the water bowl. I even bought him mini rubber ducks and he wouldn't play w/those. However he loves to put his furry play mice in the water. Ew.

I had a whole table full of plastic spiders on my Halloween tablescape and we keep finding those that the kitten has taken to play with.

I hear you. We have a little 4 month old boy kitty in our house now and I’m always hearing that familiar sound of things getting knocked off tables and batted across the wooden floor.

I think we need a picture of said kitten so we can judge whether it looks like it steals things or not! I didn't even believe without photographic evidence that the cat even existed LOL. That cat doesn't steal things-she relocates them to better places in the dwelling. Way too innocent for shenanigans.

My kitten does this too. My stepdaughter has a whole bunch of those squinkies toys. Kitten takes them all the time and then puts them in the dogs water bowl.

The grey ones are trouble! I agree with you. My black cat is so laid back. No trouble at all. This gray kitten is full of mischief. The way she teases my dog is just plain silly. They are best of friends though. Up until now all of my cats have wanted zero to do with my dog. This kitten loves the dog and will antagonize her until she starts chasing.

When Jack was a kitten he bit through the little plastic tube that connects the 2 parts of my hearing aid. I found both parts but it was a week before I got the tube replaced. I enjoyed the silence : ) but DH got frustrated.

My problem with having a cat is she throws up on me in the middle of the night. She’s an asshole. I love her, but it’s true.

I am really nervous about putting up the Christmas tree this year. I've never had a cat mess with my tree. I wouldn't put it past Maggie to mess with the ornaments.

I am really nervous about putting up the Christmas tree this year. I've never had a cat mess with my tree. I wouldn't put it past Maggie to mess with the ornaments. My other one Bodhi love to climb up the center of the tree to almost the top and sleep on the branches. And it’s a 9ft tree. Now that he is older, 14, he doesn’t do it anymore. But I have lost a few ornaments over the years. It cracks me up when I’m putting the tree together every year and I find tufts of Bodhi fur in the branches. Cairo will sometimes bat at the lower ornaments but stops on command pretty well. Good luck!!

I work in an orthodontist's office. When someone gets their braces off and gets their retainers one of the first questions we ask is if they have a dog or cat. And then we strongly caution the patient to keep their retainers in the case when they aren't being worn.
I hope you find the retainer soon! I know how expensive they can be to replace. Your suspect is adorable.
