To send to a sick friend. She's lost a lot of weight and is cold all the time. And we just had our 1st freeze last night. She already has an electric throw. (But she hasn't got it out yet.)

To wear with street shoes, I love Smartwool socks. They are thin enough to wear under my regular shoes/boots, but so warm!

When I was cold from chemo I liked thick wool hiking socks.

I have super cold feet. The fuzzy socks are soft, but not warm. You want wool or a wool blend for warmth. Farm to Feet, Smartwool, Darn Tough are brands that I would recommend. Good wool socks aren't cheap. If you have a TJ Maxx or Marshalls, you might get lucky.

Are these so soft that your feet slide right out of them if you try to walk in them?

Are these so soft that your feet slide right out of them if you try to walk in them? No, they stay on. At least in my experience.

Yup fuzzy sock slippers, but I buy down a size, usually kid sizes because they're soo big.All I asked for last year was fuzzy sock! I have no circulation in my fee. Dh got me a pair of Packer ones I've lived in them! Even in the summer sometimes.

What about one of those neck wraps that you put in the microwave to warm it up? I don't have any personal experience with them, though. Maybe somebody can chime in about a brand or where to buy besides Amazon.
