I need your advice. As a lot of you know, I received my first Copic markers last week. I was playing around with them and it didn’t seem all that great. Some are drier than others. It just seem it was just another maker that was way too expensive. Either I had the wrong paper or the markers are bad. I was expecting some euphoric high just by touching them. Boy what a let down.( lol) Well anyway guys I need your recommendation on the right paper to use. I have Neena solor white smooth 110 lbs wt card stock. What should I get? . I need a personal instructor here.

I use the Neenah 110 lb solar white for all my Copic coloring and am quite happy with it. There is a learning curve with using Copics. It's definitely not like coloring with Crayolas!!! Did you check into this class? Lots of great info here from very good Copic artists. www.onlinecardclasses.com/product/copic-markers-for-card-makers/

I've been using Neenah 80# solar white for my practice coloring. As freeatlast suggested maybe try a class. I did a lot of googling "how to use copic markers for beginners" before I bought my Copics (and I watch a LOT of card videos). Don't give up yet.

I use either Neenah Solar White 80 lb or PTI stampers Select White for colouring. As others have said, there is a learning curve with copics. Check out some videos and just have fun playing. You also need to organise your markers in colour families so you can get good results with blending - check out some recommended combinations of colours for flowers, leaves etc.
