I don't like them. I have never seen good ones for sale near me. My sister had some and they all pilled on her. You are sleeping on little lumps and I hate that feeling. Getting them in the US might be better.

Hate them. The worst night's sleep I ever had, other than with new babies lol, was on flannel sheets. They feel weird, I stuck to them, they make me hot. Ick. Only cotton sheets for me. I like my sheets and pillow to be cool, even in the cooler months.

No.
I like being cold.
Even in the winter I sleep in a cami and panties, with my fan on high, my heater off, and several ice packs in my bed.
The thought of flannel sheets gives me a panic attack. I would die of a heat stroke.

Sheets-No. Duvet Cover-Yes! I'm very picky about the textures that touch my skin. I do look for quality and so far I've been lucky with what I buy from LLBean. Right now I've been happy with their percale bottom sheets and I've been using the same flannel duvet cover for the past 3 winters-in fact I just put it on last night. Jesse, my cat, loves this cover. He's sleeping on the pillow softness right now. It goes over my down comforter. I'm always freezing cold in the winter. I have hypothyroid so that's part of it. It is really soft and I felt much warmer last night compared to the percale cover I had on it before.
If I have a hot flash I just toss it aside for a few moments until it passes.

No. We have a set that is not flannel, but has a slight fuzzy feel to it, and I don't like them. cool and crisp for me

I don't think I've ever slept in flannel sheets. I don't think I would like them. I have definite sensory issues with clothing, etc. I wondered why your husband would complain about what you feel comfortable sleeping in? Just curious, not being snarky. It seems like a funny thing to be bothered over.

NEVER! I would be burning up in about 30 seconds. I can't sleep in anything long-sleeved or that has legs either.

We love them, have them on the bed about 8 months of the year in a chilly old house in the PNW. We keep the room very cool overnight (about 58 degrees) and prefer to sleep in less clothing with thick warm sheets. LL Bean makes some that are horrifically expensive but my SIL bought them for us for Christmas and they are so luxurious. And they didn't shrink like the Martha Stewart ones did (I should have known when they said wash on delicate - who the heck washes sheets on cold/delicate?!) I think the Bean ones will last for years. Lands End used to make good ones too (not sure about now).
ETA: good quality cotton flannel shouldn't pill. The cheap sheets are disappointing in the long run because they will pill and all the warm fuzzy will end up in your lint trap instead of on your sheets.

Don't like them. I do love my throw size electric blanket, though. It's the top layer on my side of the bed and I turn it on high before I get ready for bed and by the time I get in to bed it's nice and cozy warm. I turn it off after I've read and am ready to actually go to sleep. Sometimes I leave it on very low. We keep our bedroom window open year round, usually with a fan in it and there is absolutely nothing better than breathing that nice crisp air while being under my electric blanket. Seriously, nothing better! ETA: We bought these sheets from Costco recently and they are awesome! Charisma Sheets

I hate them. Give me the coolest, smoothest, slick cotton sheets available all year long and bare skin...but this is Florida! I rarely use more than a top sheet but dh like a quilt and sometimes a blanket. Even when in Virginia with family I hate flannel sheets on the beds. Hair static! and twisted up in them because your night clothes don't slide over them.

YES! We can't put them on the bed until about December, but I look forward to it every year. (and a down comforter, too.) And I always sleep with socks, flannel PJs, and an extra blanket on my half of the bed. And my boyfriend does NOT sleep in all those clothes, but he isn't too hot with the flannel sheets on the bed.
I say keep them, and enjoy the coziness!! (and keep in mind, we live near Phoenix, and we STILL use them. It's an individual thing, whether you like them or not, but I grew up with flannel sheets on the bed in the winter, so we enjoy being warm and cozy during the winter. I hate cold cotton sheets during the wintertime.)

Love them, most of the time. MIL keeps her house cold in the summer, so she keeps flannel sheets on the guest bed.
You have to have the right jammies to wear when they are on the bed, though. Fleece or flannel pants + flannel sheets = Not being able to turn over.
Also, if you are heading into menopause and having "personal summers", flannel sheets are a bad, bad, thing.

I do like flannel sheets.
But I also sleep in flannel pajama bottoms, a fleece and thick socks in winter (we turn our heat off at night and everyone likes a cold house at night).
Edited: I’ve only had flannel sheets from garnet hill...)

Nope, I like soft, satin sheets.
We just have a dual control heating blanket on our bed. DH usually likes his barely warm and I go all over the place with my side.

I happened upon Peacock flannel sheets a few years ago and LOVE them in the winter months. The nap seems longer than the cheaper flannel sheets. I love how warm they feel when it is cold outside.
I have slept on some with a shorter nap and they are not as warm as these are.
With the weather going bonkers, we may never get to use them this year. Tomorrow's high is forecast to be 92 F.

I bought Cuddleduds flannel sheets last year and I really wanted to like them. It wasn't that they were too warm, I just don't like the feel of them, especially the pillow case. As someone else said it's like velcro when trying to roll over! Could not get used to them. Will be giving them to one of the grandkids.

I do find I don't move around as much during the winter when the flannel sheets are on the bed. Part of that is because I wear flannel pajamas, too, and it DOES make it a bit difficult to move a lot. But I get used to it. (I'm an oddball person who likes to have a lot of blanket weight on top of me, too- flannel PJs, wool blend socks, flannel sheets, a down comforter, and a crocheted afghan on top of it all. Along with one or two cats on top of my feet, lol.)

Also, if you are heading into menopause and having "personal summers", flannel sheets are a bad, bad, thing. With that in mind, I guess I'd better put off buying any for awhile. (I was thinking I'd go ahead and pick some up this weekend since this thread interested me.)

Not a fan of flannel sheets, so I'm with Kells99 above. I have an electric blanket on my side of the bed. I hate climbing into cold sheets. I turn it on at about 9:00 pm and when I go to bed at 11:00 my side of the bed is toasty warm. I turn it off when I'm done reading and the warmth stays trapped inside. My dh thinks I'm nuts. He hates the electric blanket. It makes him sweat. He says to just wear socks to bed, but I can't do it. I feel claustrophobic. I used to have issues with night sweats so an electric blanket was never an option, but I haven't had night sweats for the last year or so, so no issues there anymore.

We only own flannel sheets. I love the softness! But as an aside, where we live isn't ever considered to have a hot climate.

Love them! Just put them on for the season yesterday. I love a cold room but love being snuggled under flannel sheets when the room is chilly. Flannel sheets are the best!

Love them!! They haven't gone on our bed yet but it's getting chilly here now so we will put them on soon. I usually have them on for cold NY Winter months, so they are off by time March hits.

I love them. I converted DH. I don't put them on until mid to late October and take them off in April. We tend to sleep in a cool room so the sheets keep us comfortable.
Even my boys like their flannel sheets. One only sleeps with a comforter anyways, year round so the fitted sheet is the only one he uses.

I put them on the bed last night and they were nice. Not too hot but kept me from getting cold. I didn't sleep with long pants on, though, so don't know how they would have felt with more clothes on.

I love them. I look forward to putting them on the bed when fall rolls around. My DH has never complained about being hot but he sleeps in his underwear so he isn't wearing much.
