In the winter I often wear socks, long pants, and long sleeved shirt to bed. I am always cold. DH always complains about how many clothes I am wearing to bed so I have been trying to wear what I wore during the summer (shorts and t-shirt) but I am freezing and every time I move I get cold again when I touch a new part of the sheet.
I bought some Cuddleduds flannel sheets the other day at Kohl's but now am second guessing it (I haven't put them on the bed yet). Will they make DH too hot? Do they feel strange? Do you like them or no? Thanks!

Nope ... I like the cool spots on sheets and pillows I do wear what dh calls "Grandma nighties" to bed ... long ones that cover most of my body because I do get cold sometimes ... I need choices

Haven't used them for years but that is because I don't like the feel of them.

No. They're cold to get into to start with. I switched to fleece sheets for winter here (ND). Theyre not cold to get into, and are so soft and warm.

I love flannel sheets! I am consistently hot, but keep two fans on in the winter when they're on the bed.

Yes, I like them in the winter months. They don't feel cold when you get into bed, the nap on them actually makes them feel just right when you first get in before they're warmed up to your body temp. I was afraid they'd make me or DH too hot, but they're really just right, and then I don't have to wear layers to bed, LOL.

I do! But it’s hard to find flannel of a tight enough weave anymore. At least that’s not expensive. I just bought some no-pill fuzzy, stretchy sheets at Costco. I’ll get back to you when they get put on the bed this weekend.
I love a cold cold room in winter, like see your breath 😂 cold, and a toasty bed.

I slept in them at my in-laws' house, in Ohio, in December, and thought they were fine. Not sure they would work in my house in Virginia where the winters are warmer. I think I would rather have a heavy comforter on top of me for warmth, which I can throw off when I wake up hot at 3 AM.

Yes, I love them. I can't wear long sleeves or pj trousers or long nighties because they get all twisted and wrapped round my legs so the warmer feel sheets are a bonus 🙂

Hate fhem!!!!! Seriously detest them. And unnamed family member uses them on their guest bed and I haven't figured out a polite way to say I hate your sheets.

I like them in the winter but think DH would find them to be too hot. The only set we own would fit on the guest bed or DD’s bed, but she’s always hot so I don’t bother putting them on her bed. She does like flannel PJs though.

I think my mom may have some on one of her guest beds as well. If so, I don't mind the warmth but hers are not nearly as soft as the ones I got. She also has an ancient blanket (as old as me or older, probably) on the bed that is very rough as well as a really stiff comforter. I HATE the bedding on that bed. I try to sleep in a different one when we are there. In the past we just take the top sheet off the bed and have a lightweight fleece blanket as the first layer on the top and that worked fine, although the bottom was still cold. I recently got a new Cuddleduds comforter and LOVE it.

I love them, but my husband isn't always crazy about them. So what we do, which actually works well, is use a flannel top sheet and a regular bottom sheet. The warm flannel drapes around you and feels good.

I LOVE LOVE!! flannel sheets. Heck, I could leave them all yr around. I don't find them too hot at all. Put then on in Sept and keep on til June. The best ones are LL bean and Eddie Bauer. I like that they just keep getting softer and softer over the yrs.

Love them in the winter. I hate crawling into a cold bed when I'm already cold.

We love flannel sheets. I buy the better grade and we use them for years. I just kick a foot out when I get hot. The weight of the top sheet is just perfect for me.

I grew up with them and loved them. My mom always awitched to flannel sheets on all the beds around Oct or so. When I got married I got several sets for wedding presents adn did the same thing. The cowboy hated them. HATED. Too hot. Now when I go to my sisters house in the winter I enjoy them on her beds.

I do like flannel sheets, but I don't have any. I bought a Cuddl Duds throw blanket to put in an auction gift basket for work and I love it so much that I bought two more to give as Christmas gifts to my favorite cousins. I bet their flannel sheets are wonderfully soft!

I don't like them (we used to have them a long time ago, but can't remember why we stopped using them). Now I have cotton knit (aka t-shirt marterial) sheets from Lands End. They are perfect, summer or winter. If you are still cold and your dh is hot, try putting an extra blanket on top on just your side of the bed. DH and I will also sometimes just throw an extra afghan over the lower part of our bed since our feet/legs take longer to warm up.

DH likes them but I hate them. I sleep in a t-shirt and Capri length pants and flannel sheets feel like Velcro when I try to turn over. I buy the sheets so I win this one.

We love flannel sheets, they are on the bed as soon as it starts to cool off and they are on until it warms up again. I do get warm generally speaking, but I don't have issues with flannel sheets. I love how cosey they are!

I personally love them! Only during the winter though, which here (in Alaska) is about 6 months out of the year!
