I was most happy it ended before 10 (9:57 I think). Now it is bedtime.

I didn't care either way who won until the Houston Astro's player Yuli Gurriel made fun of Yu Darvish and his Asian ancestry. Then I wanted the Dodgers. <<<---- Usually only watches The Giants, because that's my husband's team.

People in my neighborhood are still shooting off fireworks. I’m staying across the street from Minute Maid park for Quilt Festival and it has been absolutely amazing and crazy down here . We went out with the crowds for a while to celebrate . Also bought the Stadium Issues of The Chronicle to keep as a souvenir. Pretty sure I’ll have no voice tomorrow. It’s 1:30am now and the cars are still out in full force with horns blaring and people yelling.

Aw, and Carlos Correa proposing to his girlfriend after the game! Too sweet.
I'm lobbying for the district to cancel school tomorrow so we can all attend the Astros victory parade! Houston really needed this lift!

Aw, and Carlos Correa proposing to his girlfriend after the game! Too sweet. I'm lobbying for the district to cancel school tomorrow so we can all attend the Astros victory parade! Houston really needed this lift! I loved that in the biggest moment of his career (and possibly his life), he chose to let her know how important she is to him. So sweet! I was born & raised in Cleveland and will be an Indians fan until I die. That being said, I've lived in Houston 11 years and cheer for the Astros (except when they play my Tribe). This group of young men are nothing short of amazing and they are a joy to watch. They love the game and they "literally" love each other What an exciting time for the city of Houston!

This huge Dodger fan is super bummed we didn't win (I'm actually wearing black today ) , but I'm happy for the Astros and their fans. Such an amazing series, that was some baseball. Go out and celebrate, Houston, ya'll deserve it.
