Absolutely not. I think it is ridiculous that a company would think it was ok to enter my home. There are plenty of alternatives for folks to take delivery of packages elsewhere.

Hell no. Can't wait to read the first horror story about it.

There is no way I would allow a complete stranger access to my home. Though I can see it's use if you are in an area where your package would be at higher risk for theft. At that point, I'd likely have my packages delivered to my office (if I had one).

I was talking to my husband about this and it is a huge no. I just don’t trust technology enough and we have a dog that I would fear would get out, get lost, or just become too upset over someone popping in. Plus she freaks out over any changes and a package in the hallway would freak her out. We have access to see our door with Ring and can talk to the delivery driver if need be and open our garage to allow access a delivery to be placed in there. I don’t want someone in my home and forgetting to lock despite the automattic lock. Power goes sometimes, then what? Is it dependent on their WiFi our mine because ours has been out several times since we moved. I say never.

I didn't know that these delivery people came into your home.
That would not go over well here, I live with 2 Rottweilers & 1 Doberman!!! I don't think I would be getting delivery at my house.

Boy there are many times I'm glad I "live in a box" and the Purolator, UPS go to a local store for pick up.

Parcel delivery isn't an issue for me - I have everything sent to work where there's always someone to take delivery. i work from home so am usually around but STILL get all my packages delivered to the office. it's a block and a half from home and front desk is staffed 7 days a week, 9am to 9pm monday to friday so it is just easier to deliver there. this doesn't appeal to me at all. i can see it being of interest to some though. and if someone has a home monitoring service, they can see them enter their home, leave package inside the door and walk back out again on their phone.

I won't say never but doubt I would. Of course since Amazon fresh is no longer delivering to my area I doubt this would be available here.

I might allow entry into my side garage, not into my house.

No. I don't like the idea of someone having access to my home and I have two small dogs.
We personally haven't been victims to this but I hear about it all the time on our city's FB page. People will post door cam videos of people going to porches and swiping packages or looking at who they are from and leaving them.
We live in a Cul de sac which may discourage it a bit. If we did begin to have a problem I might deliver at work or use a locker. But a locker would really cut down on the convience for me and I would use Amazon less.

No and not because I am afraid to let a stranger in to the house but I would be afraid that he let the dogs go out .

In the middle of nowhere all my amazon boxes come USPS. It is actually faster then FedEx or Ups. So I am sure there will not be an option for this anywhere around here. Interesting anytime UPS or Fedex passes off one of my orders to USPS it adds 5 days to the delivery time. I wish I could request them not to do that. We have Amazon drop boxes here so if delivery to my home becomes a problem I would just use those. I think Walmart is considering this. I thought I read that.

Not a chance!
What package could possibly be more important than the security of your home?

No, for a number of reasons. I work at home, so I'm almost always around. I have a dog and two cats, so I don't want strangers letting them out. Piracy hasn't ever been a problem here (or any burglaries for that matter), I live on a steep hill and you can't see whether there are any packages at my house (it would take too much effort to check), and I don't want strangers in my house.
