For those who don't have their grandmother's recipe.

This is the recipe that I have been using for fifteen years. I love the fresh sage, and my family gobbles this up!

Cornbread dressing is my favorite! I love all of the non meat options for Thanksgiving meal. Forget the turkey...I want mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole.

We quit serving turkey over 10 years ago when we realized no one really likes it in our family. Emphasis is on all the sides and then we add a meat (which varies). That recipe is very similar to my mom's recipe that I use. Can't wait for Thanksgiving dinner!

I've never had cornbread dressing. Is it more of a Southern thing? I'm the only one in my family who likes dressing. The few times I've tried making regular cornbread, it ends up too dry. I'm a very average cook.
