I make Rolo pretzels with the waffle pretzels and a pecan half on top. We call the “poor man’s turtles.” I’ve never made them with the rings. Those have always been so hard to find that I wouldn’t “waste” them on the Rolos. 😆

Thanks....... Aldi has those most of the time... Mine only has them at Christmas. I can sometimes find them at Giant Eagle, but usually, if I miss out on them at Aldi, I’m out of luck.

Oh, maybe I'm wrong, will have to look and then I ask the manager.......... You could be right though. I see these ring treats online for Easter, July 4, and other holidays, so some areas get them year round. For whatever reason, we don’t. I’ve even had my mom and sister on the lookout for them in my hometown about an hour and a half away from here. They can’t find them except for this time of year, either.

Ha! I thought it was going to be a ring you could put on your finger.

It's ok, with my luck today......... who knows, I could easily be wrong.

Also now in season at Aldi- Goat cheese with cranberries and a touch of cinnamon. SO good. It's a holiday only product (at least here) and I was so happy to see it when I was there last week.

This sounds so yummy! What cracker/bread do you eat with this? Is there anything else you would serve with this cheese? Veggies, fruit, meat?

This sounds so yummy! What cracker/bread do you eat with this? Is there anything else you would serve with this cheese? Veggies, fruit, meat? You need a smooth cracker. I tried them with the Aldi version of a Triscut and it just didn't work. Much better with a wheat thin or butter cracker. The cheese itself is very thick, I'd serve it as an appetizer with crackers, or as part of a buffet of small bites. The red of the cranberries is so pretty, stick it on the center of a plate and place crackers around it Lovely holiday presentation. it's not a side dish style item.
