Is it the end of days? Or are there other cats out there that eat broccoli?

My now cat ate watermelon. My past cat ate spaghetti, and if you please stir the sauce in and add some extra.

Mine is truly a cat after my heart. He likes brownies and cheese puffs and dark beer. Really, he likes anything with cheese powder on it: Cheetos, Doritos, cheez-its, etc.
He turns his nose up at produce.

Bodhi loves Mac n Cheese. He can smell a bowl of it from a mile away and will relentlessly paw your hand until you give him some. Rocky my Cocker that passed in March loved tangy foods like pickles, green tomatoes, lemon, and onion.

My cats turn up their noses at almost all cat treats, so they're no example of what cats like.

I had a Siamese cat who loved cantaloupe, she in fact would climb your leg if you were not fast enough giving her some. I learned to give her the first cut!

Not broccoli, but I've had cats like pirates booty and even cereal that's fallen on the floor. I've never had them go for vegetables except my potted palm.

My sister's cat loves produce. Crys for grapes the most and peppers. Grapes can be very bad for cats, it can lead to kidney failure.

My first kitten love loved hummus and pizza crust. A current cat likes lettuce, watermelon, otter pops and goes crazy for dried apricots. No one eating any of those is safe in the house, she will come right over to you and use her paw to pull your hand or fork to her mouth. If she finds the container with apricots she carries it under the bed and tries to get it open. The other cats just eat cat food.
Just another PSA, onions and anything containing onion powder is toxic to both cats and dogs, please don't let them eat food containing them.

Neither my cat nor dog like human food other than ground beef, but I used to have a dog who was wild for broccoli. She and I would fight for it from the crudités bowl.

My cat eats raw spinach. I caught her eating some I had drying on the counter one day. She also will steal popcorn if she thinks I’m not looking.

I had a cat many years ago that was wild for black eyed peas and corn. He would take a corn cob and chew his way around it until it was absolutely smooth.

We had a lab that once ate 3/4 of a bunch of bananas, peels and all! He would have eaten the rest of them too if we wouldn’t have taken them away. He also ate an entire container of Valentine sprinkles.

We had a cat who loved corn. She would eat kernel corn out of a can, but also loved corn on the cob. She would hold the cob down with one foot and eat the kernels.
Another cat ate chili once and had an orange ring around his mouth.
Dog loved watermelon and sometimes popcorn.

Is it the end of days? Or are there other cats out there that eat broccoli? Let us know if the cat gets a gas attack and stinks up the house.

One of my cats has a huge craving for coffee. She follows me around when I get a cup and I have to keep an eye on her to make sure she isn't sticking her paw in there. I usually put a saucer over the top of the cup so she can't get to it. Once the cup is empty, she will stick her head into the cup and lick the sides of it. There is no visible coffee left in there, but she must get something out of it because she will do it anytime I leave the empty cup sitting out. I drink my coffee black so it isn't like there is an aroma of cream or anything.

I’m another who has a cat who loves spinach. I’ll always give her a fresh leaf when I’m having some and she goes to town on it. I haven’t tried giving her broccoli, I’ll do that next time I’m cooking some and see what she thinks.

My childhood cat growled over raw potato skins. One of my cats loved peas and would pluck them off our plates if she could get a paw up. She also liked to gnaw on cob corn. The black lab we had used to eat all things off vines — green beans, peas, blackberries — so much so, I had to keep him out of the garden. My current cat doesn’t like people food at all although she asks for it constantly.

My Dude eats anything with cheese powder on it-definitely prefers Doritos over Cheetos. He loves pepperoni and sausage from pizza and any kind of chicken, preferably the skin. He likes pumpkin bars, pie and muffins, but that is the only sweet things he eats. He doesn't really eat produce, but he goes crazy rolling around on the kitchen rug when I chop peppers, celery and onions. Attachments:

My doodle eats any and all people food offered. But then again, he also eats garbage, cardboard boxes, poop and anything that smells rank so he is not what I'd call a canine connoisseur.
