AND moving to another room, I can't find my scrapbook binder I organized into 15 different categories to save all my ideas. Anyone missing that one thing you'd really like to use right now?

I miss place everything!!!! Unless I label the drawers, so know I label the outside of my drawers with what is in it so I don't forget. that helps if I actually put the item back correctly though!!!

I can't find anything anymore. I am literally missing anything I know I have for my current photos. Ugh!

I just came home from a weekend crop. One of the chipboard letters fell off a layout. It was stuck in the page protector, so no worries, right? Last night it was gone! I looked everywhere, because it was purple foil and I didn't have another "N". It was driving me crazy. I finally did find it under the couch. I have no idea how it ended up there!
Good luck in the hunt for your binder.

Always...and then when I'm scouring my room for something else for the same reason, I usually stumble upon (with no effort after having spent what seems like hours searching before) the last item I needed to have and never found, lol.

Happens to me often! Especially that lost letter thing... I even found a letter on my outside PATIO last summer? I think it may have fallen off a LO onto a cat, and gotten carried outside.
I've currently misplaced my Ranger non-stick mat. And I feel lost!

I'm missing a bunch of stuff, but I really wish I could find my Cutterbee scissors. I've been using DD's old safety scissors.

Missing things drive me nuts! I especially hate if one thing is missing out of a set - like an acrylic stamp out of a set of stamps. Once I lost an acrylic stamp and I looked everywhere for it. The last place I remember seeing it was on the kitchen counter. Then suddenly I had a thought - could it have gotten on a dish and put in the dishwasher? It was in the dishwasher that had been run every day for weeks and was still OK!

I put my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher in a safe place / misplaced it. At least 2 months ago? I have NO idea where it is, and the second I realized it was missing, I really wanted to start stapling EVERYTHING on the layout I was making. It never fails, right? I'm sure you put your binder somewhere "safe" (so safe you don't remember where it is). Good luck finding it! (you'll probably find it when you're looking for something totally random; that's how it usually happens for me.
(with the Tiny Attacher, though, I don't want to tear apart my entire room just to find it- I MAY have left it at the scrapbook store last time I cropped there, who knows. So I told my boyfriend that's what I want for Christmas, lol.)
ETA: my problem with smaller stuff that gets misplaced or goes missing? we have cats (who like to knock things onto the floor and play with them) and we also have dogs (who sometimes like to eat the things that fall onto the floor). I have a set of foam letter stamps that are all there EXCEPT for the letter X. It irritates the heck out of me, even though I'm very unlikely to actually NEED that particular letter, lol.

Yup, I'm missing a lot of things. Takes forever to find them. My problem is I moved almost 2 years ago and still have not had much chance to get organized and the way stuff was packed...OMG. It's just terrible. I didn't do the packing, someone else did. I'll never allow that again! Currenctly I need to cut some very thin circles and can't find my CM cutting mat. I have the tools and everything is ready to go, but can't find the mat! I also can't find most of my stamps. I'm coming across them slowly, but I know I have way more than what I've found. Misery!!!

It's in the same safe place as my enormous 18" ruler. ππ

If I would make an attempt to organize my scrapbook area, I am sure I would find many items that I don't actually know that I have misplaced!!!!!

I'm cutting flowers to paper piece on my silhouette. On Saturday, I had a lighter and darker shade of purple so I could lay both pieces on the mat at the same time. I had them in my hot little hands. Then realized I needed a new mat. Set them back down and was called away to another task. When I came back, I could not find the 2 purple cardstock pieces anywhere. I searched twice. Left it alone yesterday as I was out most of the day, I'm hoping they've returned from their little party away and will be easy to find today.
It's usually the little things that I lose while I'm working on projects as the mess piles up the smaller things get buried.

I'm missing a bunch of stuff, but I really wish I could find my Cutterbee scissors. I've been using DD's old safety scissors. I have 2 Cutterbee scissors because of this reason. The first pair went missing. I bought the 2nd pair. A month later the first pair showed up. Yet, still 80% of the time I can only find ONE pair when I'm looking for them. The plus, I still have one pair to use. The confusing thing is why does one pair always disappear.

I really like having a 14 x 18 foot studio to play in. Of course the draw back is finding things. I have a place for everything, but nothing seems to be in those places. I thought Fiskar tools was a great idea, what with all the orange, except now everything is orange and I can't find the one orange thing I need.

lol @ don! I wish sometimes I had a bigger space, except that would be more space to fill up with stuff! (and I am very rarely ever organized) I hear you about losing things- when I first bought my ATG gun, I though it was SO HUGE that I would never lose it!! LOL!! I set it down, put papers on top of it, and voila- it's vanished!! ALL.THE.TIME!! I have multiple pairs of scissors, a 12-inch paper cutter, a 6-inch paper cutter, a guillotine cutter, and still- sometimes, they're ALL lost! (not really, but you know what I mean...) I'm getting good at the "pat the piles of stuff on my table to see if I can feel what's hiding underneath it" game-- it's a skill that will serve me well if I ever go blind, I guess.

I lost my ream of Georgia Pacific cardstock. It has disappeared. I think it disappeared to the trash can outdoors and the trash guys already took it away. I have never done this before. Who loses a whole ream of cardstock? I guess that would be me.
Last week I lost a very tiny piece to my rapidograph pen when I took it apart to clean it. Went flying across the room. Somehow by a miracle my husband find it. I was so sick since my nib would cost $30 to replace. In the process of looking for my pen part I did find my new quartz milk stone my cats stole from me a couple of weeks ago.

I finally found it yesterday! Room organizing is going slow. I have a corner of the room set up okay. The child that moved out hasn't moved his boxes like he promised.

I hate to say it, but I'm in my late 40s, and there's probably at least SOMETHING of mine still stored in the closet back in my childhood bedroom... lol! (my excuse now is that I live in Arizona, and unless it's small enough to fit in my carry-on luggage when we go back to visit, it's staying where it is, now. Or I really, really don't need it. LOL!)

Ugh, yes, moving... when I moved my packers thought they were helping me by combining things they found. Like the cup of old markers my DD was allowed to use, with the new markers only I was allowed to use. They weren't even by each other, and in separate cabinets in my old scrap room. They put them all together:( so now it looks like I have 2 of each color. Of course they're the same brand. And now I just keep them together because I haven't brought myself to painstakingly figure out the old from the new. And my DD is now old enough to understand how to use them properly so if doesn't matter. I'm finally just getting my new scraproom reorganized after moving 2 years ago. It was a last priority of course.
