My neck is stiff on the right side. I have used; a heating pad(slept on it), a tiger tail, water pounding on it, massaged it myself, and stretching.
Any other suggestions?

Just stiff, but not painfully sore, right? Able to move without difficulty? If yes, then I say get the massage. If painful, see your PCM especially if you start to have fever.

A long, warm bath with epsom salts.

I agree with massage. They can get to it better than you can 🙂

I generally try to schedule a massage as soon as possible. But, sometimes you simply have to wait it out. I find that true when I wake up with a stiff neck from an unfortunate sleeping position.

youtu.be/56PQxcnCcMEI have a permanent knot in my left shoulder and these stretches helped me. It's two physical therapists showing you how to do it yourself. I didn't even watch the whole thing, the first few were amazing. Maybe you will find one that helps.

If you can tolerate it some ibuprofen really helps me.

Thanks ladies! I'm going to check the links you've provided.
I have done ibuprofen. It hasn't touched it!
I also was able to get a massage today. That helped a lot, but it still aches. It will take time and I'm grateful I got in.
Now to see what you're sharing.

I woke up last weekend with a totally tweaked neck. Chiropractor and massage on Monday helped a bit, but Tuesday I had my physical scheduled and she gave me muscle relaxers and they helped much more.

Go get yourself one of those OTC tens units. I use it all the time when I have a stiff neck or shoulder/back pain and it truly does help.

Do you know what is causing your stiff neck? With it being on one side, I would guess maybe you are doing something with that side such as using your mouse at an improper length away from your neutral posture position. Laptops are notorious for causing neck pain if using the tracking pad as it is does not allow for neutral posture. Hope with some massages it will get better soon.

Cause.......it may be laptop use or......strength training or......hand lettering (I'm just learning).
My guess is that is the hand lettering I'm doing. I do feel better this morning. I did some of the exercises above and got a massage. Then last night I also decided to sleep in our recliner. I figured my neck wouldn't be turned too much as opposed to being in bed laying on my side.
At the moment I feel pretty good. I've already decided I'm in the recliner again tonight. I have to give it time to release.

My neck often is sore. My chiropractor help, but when I can’t see her I use Biofreeze! It’s a roll on that works magic! Nothing else has worked topically for me.

YouTube can yield some great videos from physical therapist / chiropractors that can help. I use a fascia blaster roller thingie that helps a lot. If you can get your hands on a tennis ball of lacrosse ball and roll it on the spots it will help too.
