I searched and didn't find a thread, so if I missed it, sorry about that. Anyway, thoughts? Here's a pic in case you missed it: The pictures on the dress are all drawings her kids did, apparently.

I think it is really cool and so her and Brad. She incorporated the children's artwork, sewn into the veil, which is really neat since it sounds like the kid's desire for them to wed is why they decided to finally decided to make it official. We know it is a one of a kind.

It looks like the pictures or drawings are on the veil. It's ok I guess.

The dress itself is beautiful. I think there are A LOT of drawings on it... But if she loves it, that's all that matters.

I kind of like it. I like that instead of being fancy foo-foo, the dress is simple and the veil represents their family. I am not a big fan of hers, but from everything I have seen they *are* a loving family. To have all the kids pictures incorporated into her veil seems to speak to that love.

I like it because it actually means something and it's original. I am so tired of brides looking the same. Good for her for making a statement and being original.

I so want to hate her but I just can't after this. Her veil is so precious. What a great way to include the kids in the ceremony.

NMS. Actually not a fan of the traditional white dress wedding 6 kids and three husbands later, but it sounds like they did the wedding for the kids, and I'm admittedly not a fan of either of them so more power to them I guess.

I saw that this morning and thought it was stunning. The first photo I saw was a front shot - and it is traditional and gorgeous.
And then I saw all the art on the veil and the back of the dress & train, and just thought how sweet it was that her children all helped design her dress. Super original and they look so happy!

I think it's fun and beautiful. What a sweet memory it will be when the kids are grown. They aren't my favorite celebrity couple but I wish them all the best.

I think it's interesting. Not something I would do, though. I feel bad for her Dad not being invited to the wedding. It seems like such a smack in the face.

I'm not a fan of her or Brad, but this is totally her. She made her wedding personal and meaningful for her family, so good for her.

It was a meaningful choice for her and that's all that matters. She could have worn a burlap sack and looked elegant

I honestly didn't know they got married until I read this thread. I think she's an original, and the dress is right in her wheelhouse. (Did I use that right? I have heard this "wheelhouse" phrase and don't know what it means. This seems like it might be what it means. I'm off to Google it now.)

To be completely honest, I hate it. I have a thing about drawing on clothing though. When everyone in junior high was drawing on their jeans and their Chuck Taylors I just couldn't do it.
If I had my children at my wedding and wanted to make them part of it, I might have let them draw on/design the invitation the way they wanted. But not the veil.

I don't necessarily think it's the most stylish thing for her to do, or wear, but the thought behind it really, really touched me. The dress DOES look stunning when you don't see the veil, but I just think it was the sweetest thing ever. She can afford to have any dress, and a number of fanciful parties, but she chose to make it about *her* family. UNLIKE so many celebrities nowadays, her wedding was for her family, and not a fricking "look at me aren't I a princess" event. She looks stunning in whatever she wears, so that's not even an issue for me.
I've always been a big fan, even when she went a bit weird.
