My grand daughter will be 14 in 2 weeks. She doesn't like new clothes at all. She even said money is of no use to her. So you can see she's not at all a very mature 14YO. I know she plays Nintendo and loves art. She mentioned oil markers but I know she has a set. What can I get to make her happy. What do 14Yo still child like girls want this year?

Supplies to make slime -- Elmer's glue, shaving cream, lotion etc.

How about pay for her to have some art lessons, since she loves art?

My SIL is an artist and artists can never EVER have enough of the medium they work with. If she's asked for oil markers, I'd try to find the best set I could afford. She will LOVE that, I'm sure.
Additional art supplies would be a good idea, too. Find out what she works with (canvas or art paper) and get a supply of that. Perhaps a small set of actual oil paints and brushes for her to try out, as well. (If you go with that idea, don't forget the thinner so she can clean her brushes.)
To break up the 'art theme', get her a new Nintendo game.

Never too many art supplies

Since she like art and has oil markers already how about a how to book on lettering? Or a book and some watercolors for florals? You could give her some options to choose from and pay for an online class.

My artsy niece, 13 loves getting any arts and crafts items, and has now branched out into baking. Maybe you could get her some fun cookie or cake making supplies. If not, maybe she would like something like felt, knitting or crochet kits. They have lots of fun kits out there for young girls to get started. I used to get Klutz kits. Not sure what they're like now.
ETA: Lots of kids are into Manga these days. She might like a drawing or coloring book with a nice set of artist-grade colored pencils or markers.

I have a not very mature 14 year old and she likes slime and collectible squishies. Belle suggestion of glue and other slime ingredients is good. Walmart is selling gallons of glue for $12.

I would stick with more art supplies! My 13 year old son is in Advanced Art and has asked for a bigger Prismacolor set of colored pencils. He has a 48 count I believe and asked for 72. Well, I am going to surprise him with the BIG 150 pencil set! I actually e-mailed his art teacher to get a few ideas from her as well. Blank canvases are always a hit with my kids. You can get a GC to the local craft store to go with your gift.

Yep, more art supplies. Love the tote shown above! that is a great idea. Maybe the markers she has come in different sets of colors. If she has the basic colors, is there another set with earth tones or jewel tones, etc.
Find out what she likes to paint or color. Maybe adult coloring books with nice thick pages? Or smooth stones (Lowes sells a bag for $9 in the garden center), or sketchbook of nice paper?
My 15 yr old dd loves the little mini canvases. They are like 2" x 2" or something and you can get them at Walmart. There are little easels too to display the mini canvas. Recently we found a frame with a recessed, matted opening that perfectly holds a mini canvas at a yard sale. She's happy as can be.

I'd go with what she asked for...she probably wants another set or a newer set of markers if she asked for them. If you don't know what she needs for Nintendo, you could always go with a Gamestop (or other game store) gift card so she could buy a new game.

I like the ideas of an experience - like classes or an event with you.
She sounds pretty mature to me to not be trying to be 20 when she's 14.

my DD ( who is in college majoring in art ) has Walmart’s version of this and loves it. The reason we picked the Walmart one 5 years ago was a shoulder strap. I think you can get a shoulder strap with the craftsman ones now And perhaps a subscription to a technique magazine

My 15 year old is of the opinion that one can never have enough art supplies. And after we gave one of her friends art supplies as a birthday gift, her friend said, "I'll use these up in a week!" I think it would be OK to go with a nice or nicer set of the oil markers if that it what she really wants. Maybe you could get different colors or different thickness tips than she has now.
My DD isn't really into money either. I think it is a product of pretty much having what she wants. I give her an allowance that is adequate for her spending needs without a lot left over. I don't give many physical gifts now - we love weekend trips to do fun things. Her birthday present was a trip to Hamilton in Chicago over Spring Break next year. Her big Christmas gift (which she already knows about, but understands that there isn't another big present) is VIP tickets for next year's Dan and Phil tour.
For gifts from grandmothers, I try to give specific suggestions that I think they'll enjoy giving and that she will enjoy receiving. DD asked for a specific jacket for Christmas, so that's what my mom is getting her. Mom got her a piano bench for her birthday.

Not every teen or even adult for that matter wants clothes and money.

she sounds more mature than many adults I know. I'd go with art supplies, find out what she prefers as for paper/canvas, ink/paint etc.. and go to Micheals or Hobby Lobby or whatnot and if needed talk to a worker there on what supplies they sell a lot of, of what is new, or what is neat/cool/awesome .. I like the tote above, I'm sure something like that would be easy to find, and filled with supplies would make her super happy. maybe tuck in a gift card to the store, or to somewhere else even like a ice cream shop or the local Sonic or *the* place to go in her town whatever that may be. oh and you could toss in some funky socks and such too if you want

Amazon has a Letters to my Future Self set that would be good for someone this age.
And for slime they have a color pigment that is thermogenic so it changes colors when you touch it. I ordered my daughter the one that goes from black to pink.

<Slight hijack>
I also have the same tote in pink. I use it for my in box at home. Any paperwork I have to deal with, bills to pay, receipts that need to be recorded, catalogs I want to look through, reference paper I need to keep for a while - all goes in the tote. I keep a few notebooks with to do lists and my planner in the tote too. Fun pens and office supplies go in the pockets on the outside. When I still want to be with my family but need to get some things done I grab my laptop and my "in box tote" and set up camp.
As far as your granddaughter, have you thought about asking her to start an Amazon wish list? Might make choosing just the right art supplies or Nintendo game for her easier.
