My pea exchange cards are in the mail. I have more than enough cards created for friends and family. I have a house to clean--not the least of which is this scrap room!--and tons of Christmas gift projects to work on.
Yet I continue to turn out Christmas cards. As I go to put away the supplies, I think--oooh, that would make a cool card. And I make it. And a few more like it. Then I think--oooh, those scraps could make their OWN card...
MAKE. ME. STOP...

You could build up an inventory and sell them at a local craft fair

No way - don’t stop! Keep going while the inspiration is alive! Those other things can wait!

I'm with ya. As an SU demo I've been working on Christmas cards for months and really should be sick of them by now. Since I'm not scheduling any classes until the new year, I intended to move back to scrapping. This past weekend the only thing I did were MORE Christmas cards. I give a lot away to customers but I still have enough on hand for the next 3 Christmases! FYI, I did do one craft show in October and sold about 3/4ths of the cards I brought along. I'm not thrilled with having gotten a tax ID and have to deal with stuff outside of SU product, though. Oh well.

haha, that's not a terrible problem to have. I got on a roll too, before going away for Thanksgiving. I had already made 140-odd cards for the Pea exchange, and then I found out about the Caring Hearts Card Drive, so I made a bunch for that, and then I made a few more, and then I really couldn't stop so I ended up making 78 cards for the drive! I forced myself to put away the extra supplies after that because I really did have other projects I needed to get done.
I haven't actually figured out what I'm going to send to friends and family yet, but I usually do a photo card of some kind, so that's a different process.

Make cards until December hits. Then start with the cleaning and wrapping.

When you’re inspired, it’s good to follow the inspiration! As others have said, you’ll have a stash built for next year!
