I bought the cutest pair of shoes through Thredup. They were never worn and looked brand new in the box, so I was fine with them being used. A pair of Prada in black suede with a low heel. They're an older style, but still super cute. They originally retailed for $585, and I got them for $40 on sale with a discount.
They were sized 10, but turns out they're an Italian size 41, which translates into more like a 9. Darn it! I wanted to walk around on Thanksgiving saying "Do you like my new Prada shoes?" But alas, I'm about to head out to the post office to return them.
They would have been my deal of the year.
What was your deal of the year?

Oh I feel your pain! Not as exciting as a good Prada find but I got the cutest top from Zulily that should have been marked child size I went through the anticipation of the slow Zulily shipment only to be disappointed.

Zulily disappoints more than it makes me happy. Unless I already own something and know the sizing, I don't buy from there.

I'm sorry they didn't fit! I have to agree about Zulily. I gave up on them after things not fitting and then shipments getting lost. I foolishly ordered a few items for Christmas, and sure enough...one is currently lost in shipping to me. This is the third time this has happened with an order. It can't be coincidence. I need to email them today for a refund. The tracking just keeps showing it going around and around and around and around. Either their shipping company is stealing a bunch of packages, or they are just really REALLY bad at shipping.

Sorry they didn't fit! I've had mixed success with buying shoes online but generally try to go for a brand I've worn before because it helps with the sizing.

you can stretch them at home as well - just depends on how tight they actually are
i have a set of old shoe stretchers but i've also read about using the freezer/ice
