Thanks for the tips. I have some Papertrey felt that has been sitting here for years, and I'm thinking of using them for Christmas ornaments this year. Do you have favourite projects that you've made with your felt? SaveSave

I remember buying felt when I first started scrapbooking (about 16 years ago) and the lady at the register was like "will this work for scrapbooking"? I was like "I don't know, but I'm gonna try!" I might have rubber cemented the stuff together at the time, but it worked. Thanks for the list of companies that sell good felt! I still have some I purchased from Heather Bailey years ago and made some ornaments with: www.heatherbaileystore.com/category-s/55.htm They've held up really well!

I love felt too and have a couple big file storage boxes full of various types. I bought a needle felting kit and a bunch of colored wool roving a few months back and think that’s also pretty cool.

I used to create wall hangings with felt and yarn, creating little scenes, well before I even knew scrapbooking existed. Got rid of my felt stash along with the material I thought I may "sew something from some day" several years ago.
I have picked up a bit of felt from Taylored Expressions in the past year or so, and have used it to diecut pieces for cards. The blue makes such nice fluffy clouds.
Might have to look to my tiny felt stash next time I am doing a card or page. Haven't thought of it for awhile...

TFS. I just bought my first felt die, a heart from SSS, and am looking forward to creating some little valentines. Needlecrafting was my first love, way before I started scrapbooking.

I have quite a bit of felt from Papertrey Ink and love working with it. Always on the look out for more ideas!

I do a lot of wool applique. I search for cheap wool garments in thrift stores and felt them in my washer and dryer.

Alot of the felt I have purchased is in 9x12 sheets. How do you store this?

As far as favorite projects: I love the stitching dies from PaperTrey ink, they are really well thought out with special extras. I've been making banners and Christmas Ornaments.
Benzie Designs sells their felt in 9X12 sheets. I buy them in the color collections packs. For those I store in my bin in plastic gallon ziplock bags (felt folded in half). I don't store them by the color because I love their felt in color collections, so I use them a little bit different.
