I have been making t-shirts for family members. For one of them, I used a Disney design with Mickey and Minnie. Their faces, hands, and shoes all cut out the same color, including the tongues.
I can ungroup certain parts of the overall design, but I cannot separate the tongues, which I want to cut in pink. Since I am using HTV (heat transfer vinyl), which is a lot more expensive than cardstock, I hate having to waste a 4x4 inch of pink just to cut two tiny little tongues.
Is there no way to ungroup, or release the compound path, or whatever, in order to cut those tongues separately? I am more aggravated than usual with Design Space right now. It would be so easy to do in Silhouette's software, but the group won't ungroup, and I can't delete unwanted parts. I already cut them from the color that I had chosen for most of them. All I needed was to cut those tiny little tongues, not the whole group.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Never mind. I found the answer. It's the "hide contour" tool.
