I'm sure it's been discussed, but if you got a hair service done and it isn't what you expected, you mention to to stylist and she offers to fix at no charge...you would tip her again?

I usually do to help cover the cost of supplies. I look at it as she's now out the cost of supplies plus her time to redo my color.

maybe I'm stingy, but I'm not sure I would tip again-- if it was some sort of error on her part, at least. If it was something new you just didn't like, and she offered to fix it, maybe then I would.

It depends-was it her error or you didn’t like it? If it was her error, then no. If you just didn’t like it, then yes.

I went in woth pics and my ideas...adding some red to my blonde and brown highs and lows. It is like a brownish ref and unless in bright light can't tell I added anything...not what I was wanting...if paying the $ I want to see it...i just messaged her a d mentioned next time doing lighter/brighter and she offered the 're do at no charge.

I have the same issue with my hair, too-- reds are tough to get right in darker hair... in that case, I think I would tip her.

No. Absolutely not.

Yes, grudgingly, because she's offering to see you the next time for free. Although my hairdresser told me to not pay her at that moment, and that I would pay for my bill at the next appointment when she fixes it.

Texted my colorist bff and her reply was no, as you've already tipped her. Some do tip a second time, especially if it's an error of miscommunication, rather than accidentally turning your hair green.
So from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
