Okay so I was super excited when Elle’s Studio released mini alphas. I ordered two sets of their bundle (1 sheet each of 4 colors). I just tried them today and I am so disappointed. The letters are thick and they felt like good quality until I started to peel them off. The cuts are NOT good. Some letters peel right off. Some aren’t cut all the way, so the layers of the cardstock start peeling away. And then some punch right out backing and all, which is irritating but at least the sticker is undamaged. Has anyone else ordered these? What is your opinion? Maybe I got a bad batch but both grey sheets are like this. I haven’t tried any of the other colors. Update January 20, 2018: Elle’s Studio released 3 more colors in their January release. I decided to give them another try and they are perfect. They aren’t giving me any issues coming off the backing. Looks like I either got a bad batch of the first release or they figured out their issues.

I had the same problem with the ones that came in my Document December kit.

That is so disappointing because these look like the perfect mini alphas. Sometimes I wish manufacturers would give us more staples like this instead of some of the more out there embellishments. I would love if Doodlebug did a line of mini alphas...I don't often buy their papers because I don't have kids, but I do like their lines of basics that come in all the colours of the rainbow.

I think they are close to the perfect morning no alpha, if they were executed better. There is so much wasted spaces between the letters. And this sheet cost $2.50 for one sheet (the bundle of 4 sheets in different colors brought it down to $2 a sheet but still more than I’m willing to pay for crappy alphas). I will not be buying them again, which makes me sad because I do love Elle’s Studio.

What a bummer. I ordered every color but have not used them yet...I'm more of a collector than a doer. Wish she'd resolve the quality issues and sell these in every color especially RED. I was so disappointed that she only sold red in the Christmas kit. Red is one of the best selling alpha colors it seems. It's so versatile: back to school, love, Christmas, summer/4th of July, theme parks.

I bought few colors and have no issues. I hope it's an isolated case.

I know this says a lot about our acceptance of quality issues, but I hope they have good stick! I'd rather them suck at peeling and have to trim than have to add extra glue. I got 2 $2 and a $10 off coupon in my Black Friday order, so I nabbed these and a few other things...ended up costing me just $2.50 for everything I picked up...haven't had a chance to try them out, yet, though.

I think you should send Elle an email-she's always been super great about these kind of things and maybe you will get some replacements.

YES! All of mine do this too. It drives me crazy, but I really love them otherwise. They're a great staple
