I don't understand. Please could you explain to this Brit? Haha! Tim Hortons (huge coffee chain in Canada) has the dark roast. Forgot that I pulled into McD's. Canadian problems.

Haha. I wasn't sure exactly what was wrong but figured Tim Horton's had something to do with it.
Well my sister once drove through the Burger King drive through insisting that she wanted a Quarter Pounder with Cheese. They kept telling her they didn't make them there and she kept insisting. Finally they told her she was thinking of McDonald's and she was at BK. She was mortified.

My cousin (who lives in Hawaii) went to a mainland McDonald's and tried to order a Saimin and Fruit Punch. They are standard items in McDonald's in Hawaii.

I once tried to redeem a free coffee from the roll up to win contest at McDonalds. I was so frustrated that the woman at the drive through window did not understand what I was asking for. In my defence, it was 3am at the beginning of a very long road trip.

I'm Canadian, I didn't think double double or regular was exclusive to Tim's? I used to order the regular all the time at mcdonalds and they never batted an eyelash. Isn't that just common terms for how you want your coffee? Or am I missing something and making a fool out of myself? 😀

And even worse Caribou Daybreak k-cups are hard to find in person They are based here, but I still buy my K-cups on Amazon. Have you tried Reindeer Blend? It's seasonal. It's a bolder blend, but really good.

I love Daybreak because it's light, I'm such a wimp But light helps when I'm trying to cut back on my creamer and chemical stuff

I'm canadian & I didn't get it either, because I thought McDs had a dark roast also
and I don't think double double is limited just to Tims. You can order that anywhere. Except in the US - they have no idea what you're talking about! LOL

I was in Timmy drive thru and tried to order a grande. She just politely asked if that was medium or large. I was embarrassed though.
