Hello! My MIL surprised me with a cuttlebug for Christmas. She is a fellow crafter and I was so surprised and overwhelmed by her generosity and thoughtfulness, I cried a little!
I primarily do pocket page scrapping (although I’m definitely going to start stamping, colouring, cutting and making some cards) so I’d like to find some ways to incorporate my new machine into that.
Does anyone have any ideas on dies that are great for pocket page scrapping?
Or any essential dies I should pick up that a crafter should just have in their collection?

I've been getting a lot of use from my Polaroid/Insta frame dies, like this set that Jen Hadfield put out awhile back. You can still find that set on Amazon, and it also pops up from time to time on Peachy Cheap. And other makers offer other sizes (I think I have 3 different sizes now. ) Enjoy!

the dies I use the most are tag dies - they are great for pockets, cards, and gifts label dies - for stamping or journaling inside and using on pockets or cards stitched rectangles - for cards and I love matching dies with stamp sets too like the ones from Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn

Another vote for Lawn Fawn. Not only do they have a lot of cute small dies they also have a stitched frame die for cutting out your own cards. I’d also look into nest item dies. The smaller shapes are good on the cards. I have some by Sizzix and some by Spellbinder.

I love a large die cut in a 3x4 pocket page as a see through pocket. I have an ampersand die that is nearly 3x4 and it looks super cool in a pocket by itself or with sequins. You could do hearts, stars, or hashtags, too. Just something generic so you can get a lot of use out of it! I have very few dies but one I love is a tiny alphabet. It’s like making your own alpha sticker sheet in whatever color/pattern you want. Mine is one whole alphabet per pass so I have to put it through twice if any letters repeat and I end up tossing a lot but I still really like the font. That’s been really useful.
