I was a bit confused by the email too, as I tried contacting Scott several times since their clearance sale when I paid for an item and did not receive it. After several attempts--I was very unhappy that my money was taken without any solution or response. When I saw the email yesterday, I immediately responded to my email thread to Scott and my emails were bouncing back with each of the older emails I had stored. So, I emailed the address on the newsletter. I finally received a response from Susan, who stated they purchased the store from Scott and his wife and were getting things back up and running. She also offered to send me the item that was never sent, as it was still in stock, albeit on clearance so less than I paid. That isn't an issue for me, paying more for it now, I would just like the item I paid for.
I will shop with the new company just off of Susan's response and willingness to solve a problem that existed before she took ownership of the company. That kind of character is big for me. Hopefully, it will be a great experience and hoping a new website platform will come in the near future.

Lack of communication...one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. Grrrrrr.
Why couldn't they have just said what was going on? No one is doing themselves any favors by just saying, "Ta da! We're open!" I find it irritating honestly.
