... and there is nothing good on TV to watch. Current temp is -20º. That is the real temp, none of this 'real feel' nonsense. I am ready for spring and the great outdoors again!~ Happy 2018 to all the Peas

Ummm, have you watched The Marvelous Mrs Maisel? You start that first episode and you’ll be sucked in for the rest of the day!

There are some awesome series on Netflix. The last one I watched was a mini-series called The Five. They have great foreign series too if you don’t mind the subtitles.

Have you watched Good Behavior? Godless? Mudbound? All excellent IMO.
If you want to have a nap this chilly afternoon, I love the Planet Earth series (1 and 2). They are great to watch, but also David Attenborough's voice is the most soothing in the world. He just lulls me right to sleep.

I know what you mean! I often struggle to find something to watch too.
I recently watched/listened to "White Christmas" starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen.
So far I've only watched the first in the series..."The Toys That Made Us". Super interesting.
"How to Make An American Quilt" was also good.
"Christmas Inheritance" was sweet.
And my boyfriend, "Justin Timberlake & the Tennessee Kids" was great.
"A Royal Night Out" was good too.
"The Keepers" series...made me sick but I watched it.
That's all I got for yah! Happy watching...and stay warm!

Ummm, have you watched The Marvelous Mrs Maisel? YES! I loved it! Binged before Christmas Ahh, well I can see that if you already watched this, everything else would pale in comparison. Well here’s a suggestion if you can handle some crude British humor (think friends of Bridget Jones)- Love Sick on Netflix. The 3 rd season comes out in a few days. The show got better and better with each episode.

The Magicians on Netflix is great! It's a SyFy original show, but I don't get that channel. They have 2 seasons on Netflix.
I'm also re-watching True Blood bc DH had never seen it and i love it.

We recently watched The Big Sick and Miss Sloane through Amazon Prime movies - both were excellent.
Broadchurch season 3 was also really good (better than season 2). Netflix just recommended Wanted, an Australian series about 2 strangers that witness a crime and end up on the run, wanted for killing a cop. I've only watched the first episode and I'm really looking forward to more.

Lots of things to do in the cold! Go outside and throw boiling water in the air, we always do that, kids and adults love it. Blow bubbles and take pictures of them as they freeze that's pretty neat but you can't have any breeze at all. The noodle picture is funny. Our cold snap is finally over today, after days of up to -45C windchill!! Chinook wind is blowing and it's -4C/24F it was -28C/-18F 6 hours ago.

Not 100% sure where it's on in the USA, I think Netflix (but has to be on one of those mentioned!)...there's another miniseries of a book by Margaret Atwood called Alias Grace. Based on a true story. There's also The Liar with Joanne Froggatt (maid Anna from Downton Abbey) I also just watched a 2 part miniseries of The Miniaturist (based on the book by Jessie Burton) and thought it was excellent. Anyone who liked the book will enjoy this.

I am watching a series on Netflix called "Dark". It's in German (if you don't mind subtitles) and starts of with a child that goes missing. I liked it so much I binge watched and am on the last episode (10) and just started it last night.
I'm on Season 2 of "Broadchurch" but it's good to hear that Season 3 is better because I was wondering whether to continue.
If you have Amazon you can watch Jane Austen's PBS versions of "Emma" and "Pride and Prejudice". It says you have to pay but once you click on it you really don't if you have Prime.
