I haven't scrapped for at least a month, maybe longer. Did create cards and some gifts, but no scrapbook pages in a l-o-n-g time. But this morning I have the house to myself, stories to tell, photos to use, and paper to play with. It usually takes me awhile to get into the groove again, so I chose large photo one-page LO's to start. Here they are: The title page for my winter album:  Winter 17 & 18 title page by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And the December page for NEXT year's calendar. (I do these month by month, then copy and print the calendars in November, so I always start with the December page).  December '19 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr There. Two pages done, and it is the second day of the year. Hoping I can keep up with last year's progress of one page per day (on average) for the year. Anyone else playing? Or are you all back at work today? Hey. I am a retired gramma. Scrappin' IS my work!!! |

Lucky you! I'd love to have some spare time to get back into making a few layouts! DD's birthday is tomorrow so I was frantically working on her card yesterday! And today at lunch... I have to shop for her gift!!  I'm a little behind this year! |

December turned into a chaotic month for me so I didn't scrap much at all. I'm away from home until the end of this week, but I'm very much looking forward to getting some serious scrapping time in once I get home!

I didn't scrap much in December, but my desk is unburied and not full of random junk and I made two pages yesterday and one today. Hopefully, I can keep up the momentum...

That's awesome grammadee !! I brought up a few supplies to the living room and am going to try to give it a go. My scrap room has a chilly window, so I pulled an end table over to my comfy living room chair and am going to try. Wish me luck! |

I love your pages! the big photos are great and I love that winter swoosh. I to have not scrapped for a long time. I am planning a page in my head and hope to do it soon.

Thanks for all your positive comments! I am glad at least some of you are able to play this week. Hard to explain it, but I feel more like "ME" when I am creating. Put another two pages together this morning--a two page spread. As I suspected, the process was easier for these two than the ones I did yesterday. Chalk it up to inertia: what starts moving, keeps moving... Hope your mojo returns soon, LavenderLayoutLady. I hate when mine goes on vacation! |
