Watched the Michael Jackson show "This Is It" again. Wow, what a performer and what a difference, especially love, that he really wanted to spread to all. I wish many would look at the man in the mirror and make a change. I wish I could have seen his last show.

I'll never be able to think of him as anything but a Jesus-juice dispensing weirdo with a propensity for sleepovers with young boys. It was his own words that convinced me of his guilt. Sorry.

Yeah, I can acknowledge that he was a great performer and entertainer, but the whole spreading love and being a better person part is on the iffy side for me.

Saw it 3 times in theater because his voice, music, and creativity were mind blowing. I struggle with my awe of his talent and my belief that ther was inappropriate behavior. Yes he was a drug addict but that doesn’t even blip on my radar as the kids issue does. That song has a lot of meaning for me well before all this came out. It still does despite what happened to the creator of the message

All good points... but man, he is a great entertainer and makes me want to dance and sing. Love it!

especially love, that he really wanted to spread to all yeah, especially to young boys. Yes, he was a good performer if you have the ability to just look at that aspect of him, but he was not a great person, at best he was extremely emotionally stunted from his childhood but at worst this seems likely to have given him inappropriate feelings towards little boys. I really don't think anyone should be "making a change" that reflects Jackson's life. If anything his life should serve as a warning to others. Mutilating your face and hiring a doctor to anaesthetise you every night is not something to emulate....as the outcome clearly showed us.

Like I wish DT would look in the mirror and make a change or anyone. Not necessarily what MJ did... geeze.. just listening to the words of the song. Lighten up.

I actually found relief in his death. It actually enabled me to enjoy his songs, when I occasionally heard them, without the baggage of "is he or isn't he".

i think he looked at the man in his mirror so much and that is why he was never happy with his looks.

This is probably one of my favorite MJ songs - the message is so beautiful and yes, it would be so great if people would take a look, start with themselves and try making a change to make the world and life better.

I should rewatch that. I really felt bad for all of the performers who were not able to do that concert tour with him. It was going to be so amazing and I thought it was sad that they wouldn't be able to do it with him.
I really do love his music and when I say that I kind of feel like I'm saying, "Michael Jackson is by far my favorite child molester." When he died I was surprised to find out that my kids were fans. When I asked them about it they said, "Dad makes us listen to his greatest hits every time we're in the truck with him. We love him."

It's the challenge of liking problematic things. I think as long as you acknowledge how problematic he was, you can still enjoy his music.

We saw him live in concert before he became super weird. He really was a great entertainer.
