I am sorting my craft room out and have come across a brand new pad of Core dinations cardstock. It appears that there are 20 sheets of various brown shades - BUT on the other side are different colours. According to the pack you place chipboard letters under the cardstock and sand over them? The pretty colour comes through the brown. There is only one dodgy example on the pack which doesn't inspire me much! Has anybody ever used this? I'm prepared to take pad apart and just use as regular cardstock if necessary- just thought some creative person may have some ideas. Thanks Corinne

Thanks so much- that gives me a much better idea of how to use it. I have many embossing folders so I shall try it out soon. Corinne

Yes, I’ve used it. It’s really nice. I like the brown because it’s softer and kind of has a beachy, shabby chic or vintage feel. You can also diecut it with an electronic cutter or thin dies and distress the cut edges so the color shows more. I cut wide frames, embossed them with a polka dot embossing folder and distressed both the edges and the polka dots. It turned out really cute.

I had some years ago but think I gave it away in the end.

I have several polka dot embossing folders so I will definitely try this. Maybe I might try and die cut some titles and emboss them. Thanks!

Interesting idea. Just like a box of mystery chocolates. If I didn’t have so much paper already I’d buy some.
