I will not stop at TM. I will not stop at TM. I will not stop at TM...
I'm trying to be more mindful of my impulse shopping, so I'm avoiding it!

I stopped by Sunday. An employee was sitting on a stool in the scrapbook aisle cleaning it up, mumbling to herself. I said, "looks like fun". She mumbled something and never looked up.

I hate how sloppy shoppers are at TM. If they want something at the back of the peg, they throw it all down on the stuff below. Really? It takes 5 seconds to keep it neat for the rest of us.

My store didn't really get much in, just picked up some small cardstock pads.

Not exciting, but shocking. We had a lot of rain the past two days so the kidanhad been cooped up. Went to chick fil a for dinner so they could play. Tm is in the same shopping center. Ran over after we ate. It was 7:03. Apparently the new year came with new hours. Instead of closing at 8pm, they now close at 7pm. Booooo!

I went last week and only came out with a few things: one sheet of stickers and some puffy stickers.
However, they did have the We R Memory Keepers sewing machine. I didn't get it because I have a sewing machine already and can't justify getting another one. It was pretty though. It was $74.99 if I remember correctly.

I am in the market for a sewing machine. I am seeing my MLK gift a little early.

Mine had the sewing machines, the typewriters and some Cricut Explore Air machines. Other than that, they are pretty wiped out, scrappy-wise.

Along these lines, has anyone else noticed that Marshall's pretty much no longer has any craft items? They have some stationery items but I haven't found an actual scrapbooking item in a long time. Wondering if it's just my store or if it's everywhere. Maybe American Crafts stopped sending them their slightly imperfect stuff.

I had a doctor's appointment today and stopped in at nearby Tuesday Morning. As I walked in, the manager (new since Christmas) shouted over the counter. "I've got some bad new. The truck broke down today." Ha. I love such good service. He knows I like to stop in within 24 hours of the truck arriving. We didn't have the We R Memory Keeper sewing machines yet. Just the Singers for $169.99

I got to stop by one last weekend in St. Louis, but the only larger items they had was an entire endcap of the large Mincs. No typewriters or sewing machines. I bought a few puffy stickers, some wax seal stickers, a couple rolls of Minc foil...nothing particularly amazing or memorable.

Full Disclosure: I am a frozen pea this month
However.....I needed dog food and the pet store is right next door. I didn't try hard to control myself. I checked everything out and ended up with two $1.99 items. One scrappy and one not. In the end I left them both behind!!!
I did see the full size Minc for $75 and more of the Minc related foils and other products.
And the Tim Holtz dies seem to have been restocked, but mostly the same designs as have been there in the past.

I went to the TM in the north part of town. They had 1 WRMK sewing machine and it was pink. Just couldn't do it. Word on the street is that they make it in blue. Hopefully I will find one sometime.

So I decided to stop in at my TM today and holy cow. They had a huge mess going on in the sb aisle. Literally nothing on the actual shelves - it was dumped into boxes on in the aisle. You couldn't get a cart down the aisle. I asked the worker if they were rearranging or just getting new stuff and she just stared at me and gave no reply. So I am not sure what was really going on.

Exactly.. Lazy people pulling stuff off the pegs and tossing it anywhere... Rude rude rude....

I think I might have solved the lack of new product question. My store has big signs up CLOSED FOR INVENTORY on MLK day and the day after.
