My plan is to run out to Michael's and exchange my planner stickers as they went on sale this weekend for a significant amount less. Maybe pick up more Christmas crafts for my little cousins bag for next year. I bought her the elf on the shelf friend but her mother won't let it be given until next year. So I'm adding stuff she can do with her elf. They really make the elf on the shelf very special and I suspect it won't last much longer as she will be 9. Michael's had crafts for $3. So grabbed two plus some stickers for 30cents. After I get home some organizing is in order and going thru some stash to find some papers that will work for a card kit my friends and I are doing for an up coming crop in May. There are 10 of us and we all decided to do a table drop each. We are going to work on the design next weekend. We are not actually going to cut the paper just make some examples and give some added embellishments and the other participants can decide what to do with it. So far we have included 2 x journal page sheets from simple stores let's party. 7 cards bases and envelopes I have ordered some sequins, and wooden buttons. We are going to do some die cuts and other cardstock to match. We also came up with the idea that everyone contributes $5 and I will pick up a $50 gift card to Mike's and then we will have a draw for the card on the Saturday of the crop. Figure it will be our grand prize. The crop is put on by the 10 of us for the 10 of us so that's why we are doing little fun things. It's 3 days and it falls on national scrapbk day weekend. The 2 other friends I travel with we are going in together in the table drop and we will each contribute $20 a piece. We did a little bag for everyone at the last one. No one else did. We just thought it be nice and it was well received. So stores are almost open so time to get ready to go out.

Started on my long anticipated fall trip album yesterday. Got title page and 1st page done and started another. I enjoyed working with the fall colors I have been collecting and hoarding.
Also experimented with a pocket page for the 1st time. Still not sure I'm going to like it. My pictures are not as good as they usually are so my next step is to order some more and try to decide if it's my fault or snapfish .

I am! I'm at a 5 day crop...two more days (Sunday and Monday). It's funny how when we arrived on Thursday it seemed like I would have SOOOO much time. Now, as the days are ticking down, it seems like I hardly have any time left! Lucky YOU!!!

I have been scrapping a little here and there this week. I have revisited Shimelle’s Perfect Collection class and have used her cutting instructions to make a bunch of pages. Now I have to put them together and finish them.

Have fun with the class...it’s such a fresh approach.

I just finished a two pager, pretty simple grid design, but my claim to fame is that I cut the title and its shadow with my new Silhouette. Learned a lot about what to do and what NOT to do. Hopefully I will remember before I make the same mistakes again . I purchased some cut files from the Silhouette store, and still figuring out how to download them onto my computer. And if they HAVE been downloaded, figure out where to find them. Was hoping to use a couple of the new cut files for my January calendar page which was next on my to-do list, so I think I will skip that page and move on. In the mean time, I have some ice storm photos my ddil sent me, Hoping to get those put together--or at least STARTED--before I run out of gas.

I haven't scrapbooked since before Christmas (way before Christmas) but i finally put a foot tall stack of layouts into albums today. I think this stack is 3 years worth of scrapbooking & it took all of 10 minutes to slip into albums. I even packed them into boxes and moved them to a new house this way.
That may be all the scrapbooking i get done today.

Then they should be in your library. Thanks, Ladies. nylene and a couple of others had suggested this too, and I thought I had done it, but apparently you have to LOG OUT of the program, and then log back in. I had CLOSED it and reopened, but I guess I was still logged in. When I did the log out & in, my designs magically appeared. The only ones I downloaded separately were the fonts. Haven't checked if they are usable yet. Need to keep an eye on how many of those I accumulate. I remember being quite addicted to dingbats when my Wishblade was operational! I finished another page and am waiting for it to dry. Its partner is sitting on my scrap counter ready for gluing. Tomorrow I hope to stick this one together and get it done, including the journaling, cut the pieces for my January page and get that one finished, then photograph and post all 5 pages. Considering I accomplished NOTHING yesterday, it has been a pretty crafty productive weekend. Glad I could play with you!

Layering stamps is yet another skill I want to master. Have a couple of sets of layering stamps, and the WRMK precision press. Just need to play with them a bit I think.

I made one thank you card for a friend. I am going to make 10 of them for a gift, but finishing the first one was such an accomplishment I had to stop and relax for a day or so.

So, I have the beginning of a layout on my desk. I'm really hoping to have energy when the kids go to bed.
On days off, I always seem to run out of hours before I run out of chores.

hoping after dinner to scrap...I've done some scrap-related stuff this weekend but no actual layouts.
I made 4 cards with pieces I saved from christmas cards I received. I picked up 2 packs of cardstock at Michaels (Hot Buys) and sorted them into my cardstock/paper storage. I dealt with a photo order I picked up on Friday...
Now to actually scrapbook - working on November 2017 pictures.

Just finished 2 more, think I've done 14 total this month. I scrapped maybe 3 pages in nov and dec so this is a nice change. I'm calling it a night, except for some more sorting. I still have page kits to put together, but right now I need a break lol

And they all have cool little interesting extras. Really good old to hear that so many people got crafty this weekend. So many pages and cards and projects completed! Doesn't it feel good?

I made three cards this weekend and hope to make a couple more today. I made up my mind to make birthday cards for everyone at work this year. I did it a few years ago when I worked in a smaller building and there were only about 20 of us. They loved getting my cards, we had everyone sign them. Then we moved into a much larger building and now there are 35. I felt overwhelmed and stopped doing it. Someone else took over for a year and then said it was too much work (and she was using store bought cards, so I think it was also too much money). After a couple of months with no cards, I wanted to try again. I'm trying to make the cards now so I'm not stressed. I'd like to make about 10 to have them on hand. We all know how birthdays can sneak up on us!
I find the birthday cards for the guys to be the most challenging. I did one of a man's shirt and it turned out pretty nice! I just got Tim Holtz's Woodlands thinlit die and am gonna try to play with that today.

Yes, layering is much harder than the videos make it seem lol. I kept mis-aligning the stamps! Plus, i don't have quite the selection of dye inks in different shades that is needed. I needed a darker green for the leaves but didn't have it. I will keep working on it.
