I have been focused on making cards so much lately that my scrapping has gone by the wayside. I realized last night, though, that my desk is so big that i can have one side where i am making cards and the other side where i am making layouts--so depending on my mood, i can just move from one side to the other!

mamakoala , do you have a stamp platform? They are supposed to make it easier to do the layered stamping. I got one for Christmas but haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

I was able to get 3 pages done yesterday out of the collection of page kits I made using Nicole911 collection class I bought over the holidays. They would have went faster if I was "feeling" it more. I am happy they are completed and I love them! Clean up was a breeze too with everything going back in the bin. I don't see much scrapping getting done today with the kids home from school and some appointments I made them to keep from missing school. But there is always tomorrow!

I have some organizing to do in the scraproom, should take me about 30 min ot so. I have 3 page kits ready to go if I'm feeling up to it later. 2 of those pages I plan cutting titles with my Cameo.

Beautiful card. I always find Sympathy cards the hardest. Layering stamps is yet another skill I want to master. Have a couple of sets of layering stamps, and the WRMK precision press. Just need to play with them a bit I think. Yes, layering is much harder than the videos make it seem lol. I kept mis-aligning the stamps! Plus, i don't have quite the selection of dye inks in different shades that is needed. I needed a darker green for the leaves but didn't have it. I will keep working on it. What kind of stamps do you have? I have found the clear acrylic ones are easier b/c you can see where the new stamp is going when you set it on the stamped image. I have been told that you can trace a stamped image on the top plate with a marker to help you place the next rubber stamp, but haven't tried that.

I am using altenew tulips set--it's a clear stamp, so it does help, but sometimes i am just a Weeeee bit off with the layers and it bugs me. plus, the long stamps, like the stems, can often be curved oh-so-slightly and the next layer stamp has to be curved just the same way to match. I am learning!

mamakoala, your cards are BEAUTIFUL! I ended up scrapping for most of the three day weekend and feel like I accomplished a good amount. I'll have a final count tomorrow. I still have some journaling and titles to do.

I was happy it was a three day weekend. I ended up getting 22 layouts, three tags, and one card completed. I haven’t scrapped since Monday. I’m thinking about working on my 2017 PL album today.
