I wake up after only 2 hours with a headache when I've taken it.

How were you able to get a prescription for so much flexeril? My husband and I have gotten it for back problems but our doctors just give us a very small number of pills. We would both love to have some on hand for when our backs act up and not have to go in to the doctor each time (that gets expensive). My husband always asks for one of mine when he has a minor back thing but I don't want to give mine away! Even when I know one would help, I feel like I need to save it for when my back is really bothering me. Not sure. I went to get appt for problems sleeping and this was suggested to me by the doctor. They are 10mg tabs and I cut them in half per his instructions. Been using them for about 4 years? Your doctor gives them for sleep problems? I will have to look into that! I often take advil pm when I have to travel so I make sure I sleep well. I would love to be able to have a prescription for flexiril to use them when needed for back problems and sleep problems. They are probably safer than the advil.

Add me to the list! I had horrible dreams while taking melatonin.

Hmm my doctor indicated flexiril could be addictive. No bad dreams with melatonin. Helps me to relax. I try not to take it every day.

Unlike prescription medications that are considered to be addictive, Flexeril does not cause physical dependence. In other words, it does not make the kinds of changes in the brain that addictive drugs do. However, it is possible to become psychologically dependent on cyclobenzaprine.”

I’m now taking cyclobenzaprine when my sciatica acts up. I use it sparingly.

It makes me anxious. It’s better than Benadryl which makes me feel like I’m crawling out out my skin - not great results for things that are supposed to help me sleep.

Hmm. I didn’t have weird dreams. I don’t need any help falling sleep. Unfortunately I fall asleep too well. I need help sleeping during night hours. I don’t want to be up through the night but sleep through the evening. Would love to stay awake to say goodnight to my kids. I think a cat nap in the afternoon could help me too but I never find the time. Meanwhile, I took a pill for my migraine and now I can’t keep my eyes open. It’s a rare side effect. Happens more often when I wake with a migraine and have to take meds for it on an empty stomach. Have you tried listening to binarial beats before sleep?
